Unbelievably physical. Seeing those forwards muscle their way in the paint. UNC vs SC - exactly what college basketball leads. I'm happy the other three blue bloods have taken hikes already. Anyone could win that game between those two rivals. Just seeing how relentless SC is offensively and long defensively is crazy. Huge game.

And UNC has to beat Oregon. North Carolina has had much closer calls in the tournament this year than has South Carolina. The way I look at it, if you can beat 2 teams that were ranked #1 during the season (Duke and Baylor), you can win it all.

Oregon's history wasn't bad, haha 78 years ain't bad ? Oregon has not been to a final four since the NCAA tournament's first year. It is impressive though that S.Carolina will play in their 1st ever final four.

Good to see them and USC fans happy man. I really didnt expect them to goto the Final Four.. The highest was Sweet 16.... After that Duke Baylor beat down.... It was fitted that they can get to the Final Four.. Their team Defense IS AWESOME. They were hiding their best for the Tournament.
PJ DOZIER. My god he's unstoppable. His little hesitations and ability to get to the basket are really next level for college ball.

So many people say the SEC is a joke they aint talking now. Arkansas lost to UNC by 3 SEC hqs power.
Never imagined that two SEC teams with no ties to the area could get the Garden rocking like it was in this game. Great college basketball atmosphere for a classic game.
This was on the level of the Big East tournaments of the early 2000's.

Same! I've been a fan since I moved to South Carolina when I was 3 (which was 12 years ago) and was surprised to see them in the Final Four this year after living in California for the past 6 years.

Refs didn't cost the Gators the game, but you can at least admit that they missed that travel. SC still might've won. Who knows though.

UF got 5 straight fouls in 41 seconds of playing time in the 2nd half. SC was in the bonus with 15 minutes left in 2nd half... Facts speak for themselves

Really good season by the Gators, they weren't even in the preseason top 25 and were only projected as a 8-10 seed. Finished 2nd in the SEC and made it to the Elite 8. Losing Egbunu may have cost the Gators this game. SC went inside all night. I don't think thye would've with Egbunu in there. But, the Gators will contend again next year. Hoping SC makes the most of this. I guess making the Final Four is already a huge success, but this may be their one opportunity. Don't see them contending like this next year with what they lose.

Orange02Blue03 We have a nice recruiting class with a killa(David Beatty), a transfer with two years of D1 experience Holder, our Freshmen amd sophmores will be a year older. We didnt even play our Twin towers who will be a year older. Yall sleeping for real.
Yeah I know about Kory Holden the transfer. He'll be good. Not sure if he defends though. David Beatty isn't bad, but isn't ranked in the top 100 in any recruiting services that I know of. Other than him, there really isn't anyone worth mentioning in the class. The key for SC next year will be whether Dozier comes back or not. But anyway, getting ahead of ourselves. For right now, GL against Gonzaga.

Great run so far. Congrats, Gamecocks nation. In the second half, Notice almost lost them this game. He was throwing up bricks, missed back-to-back free throws, turned the ball over twice (I think), and actually traveled on the long pass to him. If the refs calls that right, it might have been a different story altogether.

I don't recall the Gators scoring on that possession though. SC ended up getting two FTs because of the missed travel.
