I actually visited Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Dec 2019. It was breathtaking. There are three rooms for viewing the main idol. You cannot view the idol in its entirety from one single room. Only the head is visible in the first room, the rest of the torso in the second, and the legs in the third. Absolutely majestic. I wish I could go 1000 years in the past and see India in all its glory.

Truly breathtaking. I am from Tamilnadu and during our school visit to the Tanjore Brahadeeshwarar temple, we were informed that RajaRaja Chola (the king who constructed the temple), had an inclined plane of 8 km long built and used elephants to roll the granite rock to the top. It is also the temple, where the shadow does not fall on the ground. This is because geometrically, the base of the temple is so broad that the shadow of the top falls on its base rather than the ground.

@@sktalha6384 thats what you always say and thats where you always c ontradict yourself. Are you actually aware how the Islam got famous ? Because your "great prophet" killed, pillaged, raided, murdered and conquered the whole of the middle east through WAR. Tell, if your religion is literally starting that way (oh, dont worry christianity isnt any better for that case) how can you say no religion teaches to kill people ? Ill give you a funny example to show why Christianity is just as stupid. They say god loves everything and everyone without any condition, BUT if you do anything wrong you will burn for all eternity in hell and suffer there. What an unconditional love heh ? Lemme tell me somethime about god and why the 3 big modern religions exist. We are god and we are truly free. We have no Agenda other then making experiences and growing. HInduism knows that btw. Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all twisting this around, contradicting themselfs. If you say that no religion teaches to kill people you are simply lying. Elsewhere some Christian dude said why god would let people suffer. He said "because we are free and suffer because of the choises we make". And that is why the christian god picked people who he forced to serve him and ordered them to kill their familys and stuff like that. Thats exactly the opposite of what that guy was implying. Also whats with all the Children that suffer ? Do they suffer because of their own choices ? Stop being so blind and start being truly free. Because if god truly loves us without any condition you need no islam, christianity, buddhism, judaism or whatsoever. He loves you anyway. No reason to enslave yourself to contradictions.

Unfortunately, 'education' in the context of learning is just an illusion. 'Education' is actually a system to teach children to conform and learn that questions are to be laughed at. Education is where a fish will be asked to climb a tree and then judged on its ability. Until a fish discovers water and realises it can swim, it will remain believing it is useless because it can't climb trees. Skills are not discovered, encouraged or allowed to flourish in an educational setting. Rules are imposed, limits are set and you are made to believe you will be nothing and you will never be able to achieve anything! Unless you prove you can retain all the pointless information you've been brainwashed with.

Some of the largest temples in India are all found in Tamilnadu. The Brahadeeswar temple, Madurai Meenakshi temple, Rameswaram Temple Thiruvarur temple, Chidambaram Nataraja temple.... the list goes on.
Tamilnadu remained free from invasion. Even the great Mughal empire which covered the whole of India spared most of Tamilnadu for reasons little known. In fact, the Cholas, the Tamil kings conquered far away nations like Malaya, jawa, Sumatra etc.

The Rig Veda has 10,552 mantras grouped into 1028 suktas or hymns each having roughly ten mantras.
The suktas are further grouped into 10 mandalas.
Rig veda has only Rik mantras which have a metrical structure. Of these 2456 mantras are in the well known Gayatri meter ( The popular Gayatri mantra is also in this meter).
As per Shri Aurobindo Ghosh , Rik is the mantra of divine consciousness. Its brings its light of revelation.

Hinduism is one of the greatest and oldest rich civilization and culture...but people look at as a religion and doesn't look at the perceptive that Hinduism explains how a person need to live "the way of living"... various festivals using various leaves, fruits .. making humans to socialize...all these are not highlighted...and it scares me that this religion is going to be extinct in few years😑

Hindu Gods are inventors just like Jesus was called "The Light" because he invented bee wax candles that increased productivity by at least 50% and is virtually just one of the ways he earned a God Title. May the Gods bless you and may Jesus love you child.

Michelle Jane Day Living RECREATOR GOD There nothing like Hindu gods or Christian gods. All are beliefs that has been fed in to our mind from the time we were born. Jesus means nothing to a person living in very remote area of the world for thousands of year as he never heard of it. There were no temples in Vedic times because most people were seekers and not believers. What our convictions are about religions and god have come from reading or from others but not from our own experience.

I am well aware of that. Thanks for sharing the info though. I have traveled the World and have met many people born into tribes that know nothing about religion at all of any kind. They know nature is very powerful and that is about it. Our structured society has developed an honor system over the years that started with Hinduism. Each Hindu God invented something. That honor system has been adopted in many parts of the World but presented differently such as the Angel Titles given by Buddhists in Japan which spilled over into European and African religions. Greek God Titles are still awarded today in the Great-Honor System that we call religion. Unfortunately, people do not believe in themselves enough to earn one of those titles and be what the Bible says is "like GOD". The Bible and other sacred texts tell you your mission in life. Even Satanists have a mission and it's all the same mission, just carried out in different ways. I know Satanists with Angel Titles because they use the Satanic Religion as a tool to solve crimes. They are truly Satanists because they were either born into a Satanic family or live a Satanic lifestyle and hold their beliefs without breaking any Laws. In America you can believe the World should be a certain way, but you know it's just not very practical or realistic and many Satanists are in that frame of mind because no one wants to sit in jail forever no matter how Satanic they are. I know Christians with Demon Titles because they have Mastered the Art of Neutrality by being a messenger between Religious Worlds whether the message is good or bad thy believe it is informative none the less. Thanks for letting people know that some people have never read the Bible. It's important people understand that some people have never read Buddhist scriptures, Jewish texts, or any other religious writings either and are without a religion completely.

vithaldas Bhandarkar it's full of pagan Satanic stone will the real living God well destroyed them . They can't talk they can't see they have eyes. Just men made them .Jeremiah 10
3: For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.
4: They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
5: They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
