    How to Cook Adobong Sitaw Recipe - This dish is very easy to cook and we serve it regularly for our day to day meal. We love this version as well, hope you'll love it too. Bon appetit. All ingredients are optional, modify as per your liking. Take everything in moderation. "Health is Wealth".
    Adobong Sitaw
    Ingredients:
    320 grams - pork collar
    1/2 cup - water
    1 tbsp - olive oil
    1/3 cup - garlic
    1 cup - shallots/onions
    900 grams - string beans
    1/2 cup - water
    3 tbsp - soy sauce
    1/2 tsp - ground pepper
    1 tsp - sugar
    1 tsp - chicken powder
    1 tsp - liquid seasoning
    1 tbsp - spicy chilis
    3 tbsp - vinegar
    pinch of ground pepper
    5 pcs - spicy chilis
    Cooking Time: approximately 30 minutes
    Serving: 5+ people

    Do these type of green beans get good and soft? Or are the beans in this dish meant to be firm?

    You don't need to add sugar in adobo. Filipinos really need to stop adding sugar to almost every dish. But, I do like this dish....sugar not necessary.
