This area is a point of extreme pain for me. The left hand is not meant to naturally do that stance. We shall try this trick to see if better alignment can be achieved…

@@emmapolanco989 The shift to an upright stance, as shown here, definitely does strengthen the fingers. I highly recommend this deliberate adjustment …. Thank you for asking

It has always been easier for me since my dominant hand is the left hand . Maybe try actually accepting the fact that there's no way around it, trust me it'll get easier with time
