Liked Your method and the way you showed it worked for me. I tried different methods I saw online, and they all failed. Your video really helped fix my problem, which was the up and down idle after cleaning the throttle body.
I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra S - 1.8L Just wondering if I should try this with mine. My trouble is that it's going through gas but runs smoothly with no apparent signs of why.
Great video. I just had the swirl valve & actuator changed on my 00 sentra 1.8L. It’s in def need of a relearn as the rpm while driving jumps down after I release the gas. Do u think this will work on my 2000 sentra gxe?
When u installed the throttle body, did SES light automatic go out? I installed new throttle body because my SES was on and that was code that it cause for. But when I installed new one to let it warm up before the relearn light was still on. Plz help trying save money
@@travelautomotive4825 I got mechanic to replace it on 06 Nissan Sentra 1.8L and it's still not fixed . A couple of things - 1) when I start it sometimes first thing in the morning or at lunch time at work it starts but won't rev up just stays low . No matter if I floor the pedal . 2) at red light tachometer revs up a lil over 1,000 and then dips down below that . 3) while running on the road in drive it again loses power can't rev it up . Any help will be appreciated
Before replacing tb again and relearn, check manifold pressure with vacuum gauge. It will allow you to see if timing is off or exhaust is plugged. If it checks out then replace tb with quality part and relearn
@@travelautomotive4825 who are you replying to ? Both of us ? I or mechanic never checked manifold pressure he just said to replace TB and now still not fixed still have same problem after trying relearn procedure .
@@travelautomotive4825 and I used a very similar relearn from another video . Did it twice now because it kept doing the same things . 1) unplug negative battery cable for at least thirty seconds so computer rests . 2) Turn off all electric accessories like AC / radio . 3 ) Warm up engine to normal temp 4) turn on for at least two seconds ( but don't start engine ) then off for ten seconds . Do this twice . 5 ) turn it to On position for three seconds then pedal must be pressed five times within five seconds then released . 6) Wait seven seconds press fully pedal hold for twenty seconds until check engine light stops blinking stays on steadily on then release 7) Start engine wait twenty seconds at idle then rev up engine a couple times and see if's normal idle speed within specs

Worked on my 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8L now it runs and starts way better! Thank you so much!

You did a fantastic job with the relearn process. I tried other ones and it didn’t work. Yours did the first time I tried it.Thank you 😅
You are a legend my man thank you
Awesome tutorial! Was trying another one for about an hour!
Right on man. Got it. Thank u
Worked thanks
Would it work on a 04 altima 2.5 ?

Thanks,
As long as you have electronic throttle body it work for a relearn
What is the swirl valve I’m pulling a code for it. Is it the same as the camshaft position sensor?
😓
Just FYI, scan tools are simple to use lol.🤠👍
Lol why would one want to pay for a 2k tool when there is a Manual relearn procedure
Where would one get that throttle bod
Is it normal for it to rev from 1 to 2 constantly after changing the throttle body?
Fluctuating a couple hundred is okay but not 1000 no,

Unplug negative battery cable for about 10 minutes and restart the relearn process step by step.

Why did u have to replace TB?
is this part considered the tps sensor?
When you buy the throttle body, the sensors are in the black plastic parts
You can buy the throttle with or without them. Just buy everything together
What was the reason you change the throttle body???
TB failure out of spec
What symptoms did car have? Long cranks?
