What is going on everybody, this is TGA, and we're back in Ireland everybody. Decided to visit the Dublin Airport Maintenance Base, something a little different from the Garda Stations and Prisons that me and ‪@AY-Audits‬ did last time, joined by ‪@CJAuditsAuditingNI‬ this time. Crazy one this, didn't take long at all for an unmarked Garda car to show up and the Gardai inside to start threatening to arrest us for filming in public. Hope you all enjoy the video. There's a lot more to come yet.

With power . . . . comes laziness . . . when you've spend 2 or 3 decades having the public just do whatever you tell them to do, there's very a strong predisposition towards casual indifference and laziness when it comes to the letter of the law, why bother keep up to date with every last facet and detail of legislation when all you really need is a few well placed threats to move someone on or stop someone from filming.

In Ireland a summary offence is an offence which can only be dealt with by a judge sitting without a jury in the District Court. While offences which can or must be tried before a judge and jury are called indictable offences. You have the option to have your case heard before a jury, but the penalty on conviction increases. Prisons are stuffed to gills in any event!

@musiclover9361 Yeah, I get that, the general understanding of the term stems from its US context, " A formal written accusation of crime." In the Irish context it is referring to an Inditable offence, much like a felony or misdemeanor in a US context.

The Garda are definitely way way behind modern policing. They may have a few electric cars , but still can't communicate with the public without getting aggressive.
No cameras he would have attacked you. When we used to go down south, they were always looking cash. Stopping the car with the Northern Ireland plates.. trying to get money for arresting you and making it on bail. My friend escaped from letterkenny police station way back in 1992. Went to the toilet, had the car keys in his balls and went out the window. Definitely not secure like the police stations in Northern Ireland. My friend from lifford just on the border treats them like 💩. Anytime am with him he will go looking to torture them. Once when we stayed in Cavan town for a drinking weekend. We both met these 2 women and they stayed with us one night. They stole his wallet and left her id behind by mistake. She was a bangarda. I thought he meant bang harder lol. But it's the way they pronounce female officers in the Garda síochàna. Either rob you for money or false arrest. Biggest crooks in Ireland

    Foreign country, different laws.
We were asked to do a job in the Republic, we chose not to. When one man can, in a court, decide guilt or innocence, we chose not to get involved there. It just depends on what mood that man is in. I prefer our system of 12 ordinary people deciding, even the 3 Magistrates deciding is better but I always chose the 12 ordinary people.

It doesn’t matter anyway, laws on Photography are the same, in fact more solidified, as there’s no laws on filming courts and prisons in Ireland. Excellently handled.
It’s a shame that someone from a different country knows the intricacies of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act 1994 better than most Irish people.
Hence why the Gardaí abuse that Section 8 on a regular basis in an effort to have people ‘move on’ despite those same people doing absolutely nothing illegal.
7:30 ID not displayed clearly breaching ‘ Uniform and Dress Code Policy’ of An Garda Siochána. He later remedied this at 09:00.
07:30 Asks your name. When challenged, he changes tact.. querying ‘what you’re doing at the moment’.
09:50 You challenging him on which section of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act 1994. This after he gives an unlawful direction to have you leave the area.
His immediate reply , which is standard when Gardaí are challenged is “I’m not going to discuss it with you”. Translated that means , oh you appear to know the legislation and can see I’m chancing my arm here so I’m leaving before I embarrass myself.
10:15 Driver claims the offence is that you’re ’causing a nuisance’, later at 10:50 he changes that you ‘a disturbance’, neither of which are offences under the above Act.
Again chancing his arm because he has absolutely nothing on you.
10:20 “5 minutes to leave , you’ve got your direction”. Yes, an unlawful direction and if you had been committing an offence , he wouldn’t have left in the vehicle with a warning of ‘you have 5 minutes’.
    They were both absolutely unprofessional.
As for GSOC… I wouldn’t waste the ink. Trust me on that.
