CSGO has gotten me though so many tough times growing up, whether that was being bullied at school or my parent's arguing before there divorce. CSGO was my main escape from all the drama. Cheers to an incredible 10 years and helpfully another 10 years with CS2

I could come up with more, but my heart just wouldn't handle it, as I've been playing CS:GO since I was 4, and now I'm 14. It has brought me joy for a whole 10 years. Most importantly, not only with its gameplay but also with bugs, fun with friends, memes, and the workshop. It entertained me in many ways, but I hope, no, I don't hope, I want the developers to hear me and KEEP CS:GO IN STEAM, as they did in previous versions. I ask you to bring back CS:GO, even if there are many restrictions, just bring it back. 😭😭🙏

grew up watching csgo, way back from when i was a kid. Used to play cs 1.6 with csgo mods and tried to recreate tournament moments, one of the happiest times.

Nearly 32 now and it makes me very sentimental to see this video cause I nearly know that my CS time is coming to an end. Life is changing the older you get, focusing more on other things in life. I will never forget the hours I spent on this game, not going to school cause of ESL Gathers, surf maps, being admin on jailbreaking servers, watching alternate attax playing on IEM etc., pretending to my parents that i was in school untill they locked up my gaming room just to spend hours searching for the key (i found it always). I will never forget the memories I made in this game. It was a big part in my life and it will always be. ❤

Counter-Strike is truly one of a kind when it comes to the FPS scene. My journey started with CS 1.4 and its crazy to think all these years later we are still playing Counter-Strike.

1.4 wasn’t even a thing really….it went from 1.3 to 1.5. I’m pretty sure 1.4 only lasted a couple of weeks maybe a month tops. I played the original 1.3 but didn’t have my own PC until 1.5.

Thank you for all the bad and the good times, I will never forget how many late nights I played with my friends this game, neither the joy of a clutch moment. The frustration of a cheater in the enemy team, the overwatch system, the release of a new operation, a new case and all the craziness that comes in those very moments.
All the hours watched you played by others.
They skins I've lost, the ones I gained. All the matches watched played by pros (never bet on Virtus Pro) my friends.
Watching this clip, I realized how much I grown and changed as a person, started it when I was a teenager in high school, now a grown man. CSGO was like a friend, always there to have idiotic moments, angry, annoying, but most important fun moments.
I guess what they are saying is true, a legend never dies!

This literally moved me to tears. Such a long history and I’m so damn happy I was here to notice it all. Ever since I was 10, almost 10 and a half years ago my passion started for cs and rapidly skyrocketed. I saw the first csgo major when I had a pc which couldn’t even run steam. I always wanted to play csgo but my specs were wayyy to low. All until my dad got me a decent laptop and I started playing csgo on it in 2015. I was so damn sad my dad didn’t take me to the 2015 Cluj Napoca major, the only one that happened in my home country of Romania but lived and played on. This really makes a grown man cry to see csgo, a game we could all say which ended up on this video that has raised us and was a huge part of our childhood. Even now as a 20 year old I still play sometimes but, in the recent memories as I started university and work, don’t really have time for it anymore sadly but I’ll always be part of the community until forever

Only started getting into CS:GO when it became free, then I became heavily invested in a CS:GO scene where I recognised half these monumental moments. Like how JKS was wearing Twistzz jersey at 13:08 since he was a sub, after not being a main player for a while!
I’m just so empty and emotional and the same time. I just can’t believe it. The start of a new era… I will miss CS:GO. We all will miss it. I’m only 15yo, and I guess CS2 is my era of gaming.

@@Trommisen1 ye but the thing that im fucking furious about is the fact that the game doesn't exist anymore, there was no reason for them to completely remove the game off of steam and shut down the servers, at least until cs2 is actually playable. cs is the only game i ever really played and i absolutely despise cs2 to the point where id rather play valorant. fuck valve and their greedy asses.

My old roommate when I was 18 used to play CSGO, I never really understood the appeal. But I recently got a steam deck and DL’ed CS2 and I’m hooked. All the best, y’all.
I started playing this game on Jan 2020 and got more intensive during covid. Over 3 years i manage to ranked up 1600+ hours of game play and completed all the achievements.
Not it feels like the past, all the achievements is gone CSGO is gone and prolly my download is also gone bcs I’m a weirdo and played it on Mac instead of Windows.
Thank you CS:GO for making my quarantine somewhat less boring, i’ll miss you.

As many of you have already mentioned, it just feels wrong not to express it myself. I grew up with CS:GO on my old family PC, a companion since middle school. Every day, after school, when I lacked many friends to hang out with, one of the main things I looked forward to the most was playing a good old game of CS. I couldn't really ask for a better day at the time.
Weirdly, one of my biggest regrets is not attending any esports events. I'm really sad about it; back then, I was just a kid, so it's not like I could drive myself to any of them. Now that I can, I hope CS2 lives up to CSGO, which I'm sure it will. We all made so many memories with CS:GO, and let's hope to create some more in CS2.
