The fact Vader used Reva's saber instead of his own, that was the ultimate insult. It was him stating that Reva wasn't even worthy of dying by his blade.
And yet, for the second time, he didn't properly end it.

He was bascily still torturing her. She waited ten years for this moment, hoping she can kill him. Vader showed her that all her hopes and dreams were pointless. The moment she released that all her training was for nothing, must have been more painful then the actual death.
To be fair, that was her chance, because Vader would only get stronger over time compared to her cap.

That's how you know you've crafted a great villain. Vader is legendary tier because he is, at ALL TIMES, a threat to the heroes. (And other villains occasionally) If someone crosses your villain and the audience knows that character is dead... you've made a great villain.

With this fight, I kind of pitied Reva. All the sacrifices and moral compromises she made, all the people she killed, for this one shot to avenge her childhood friends. Vader effortlessly countered her attack, ran her through with her own lightsaber, and then revealed her identity which she concealed all along. In this fight, she doesn't even get the dignity of being a threat to him. He exposed her to be a cheap pawn that can be thrown when convenient.
And that's why we love vader. He's not just some madman crazy villain. He's so connected to the force that it's impossible for anything to get past him

By this point Vader was the character that did every side quest possible before tackling the main quest. He probably didn’t even break a sweat
It's fascinating that so many fans wants to see Vader, the villain, kill people. Usually people don't root for the villain. It is awesome seeing basically a prime Vader use his repertoire of abilities.
In this case, the fact that she is a Black woman was too good an opportunity for some to pass.

Something I just thought of, thanks to The Movie Couple. This fight, rogue one hallway, rebels, Disney has been KILLING IT with Vader. it's one of the few things the entire fandom has embraced from what I've seen. Especially this fight.
Plus, with everything we know of Obi-Wan and Anakin's bond, this fight is just a TASTE of what we will be getting in less than one week!
PS: Vader, didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with your food?

the dude said she lasted longer than trilla.. trilla was already beat up lol and she was terrified as soon as she sensed vader, she didnt even fight because she had accepted death. imo 2nd sister would stomp 3rd no contest.

Yep. Trilla basically accepted her fate. Reva wants to go down swinging. Besides, we’ve already seen Vader dominate her the previous episode via Force choke. He could’ve ended her there as well. Trilla actually has shown she’s capable, while Reva has just been ragdolled left and right by her fellow inquisitors.
U didn't take into account trilla was trained by cere and a older teen when order 66 came. She was around 25 at most in fallen order (5 years ago in this show). Reva was a child maybe let's say 10 or 11 during order 66 and is now only 20/21...trilla would mop Reva in a fight

This fight is epic because, it's the only time you see Palpatines direct training in live action . He hated sabers,and thought a true sith knowledge of the force should be all they really need.

one thing this video made me notice is vader barely even moves from the spot he was in to stop the ship. by the end of the fight vs reva hes standing in the same exact spot lmao. I can totally see anakin telling himself to stay in that imaginary circle for more of a challenge.

I think (I am not sure) that in canon he didn’t lose as much potential in the force as in legends. He mainly lost mobility and the ability to use force lightening. I could be wrong but I think I heard that a few times before

I don’t understand why people are saying her decision was a dumb move? She knew she didn’t have much time and that it was now or never. She was desperate to destroy him. Common sense doesn’t always prevail when emotions are strong. He knew the whole time so anytime to try and kill him would be a bad time. She fought so valiantly. He could have destroyed her immediately.
It was dumb because she refused Kenobi's offer to do it together and instead tried to do it alone when he was at his most pissed off.

This is my opinion on why Vader didn't just straight up dooku her head off
Defeat by humiliation was enough for her think about this she wanted to be the Grand Inquisitor it was done she wanted more authority over the inquisitors she got it than all that was torn away from a force so much more stronger and powerful that no amount of intensive lightsaber training or force training will ever defeat him she now knows she will never defeat Darth Vader and for Vader to let her live she has to live with that failure forever she lost her purpose which was to be Grand Inquisitor

The amount of "Star Wars fans" that haven't seen Rebels is appalling. She didn't "turn it into a Darth Maul" blade. All Inquisitors have the double blades. Of course the Grand Inquisitor isn't dead. He dies in Rebels years later. Also pretty sure one dude said "Dark Vader."
So who/what was piloting the ship Vader stopped?
Not a big fan of the show so far but I liked the flashbacks at the end of this scene. As if to say, after all that time, all the horrible things she had done for revenge, all her anger ... In the end she was still just the same helpless child compared to Vader. Nothing had changed.
