But honestly it’s much more fitting that these guys who we got to know, had personalities, emotions, etc were also victims . They were forced to being cogs in Palpatines machinations

But Maul and Savage could have just not tried to create a galaxy-wide crime empire in direct competition to Palpatine. They chose to live by the sword, and Savage died by it

Someone else pointed it out further down in the comments: Janos Slynt was all, "Orders are orders", when Tyrion confronted him about killing babies on Lannister orders, but all of a sudden, "Orders aren't orders" anymore because they came from Jon? Plus, weakness and disobeying orders is not something the Night's Watch can afford. Sam didn't even hide during the Battle for Castle Black, yet Janos hid with Gilly and the baby. Janos deserved it

Jon and Sansa are meeting again for the first time in years and after innumerable horrific tragedies, and the only other direct family they think they have besides the Tully's is Bran, who is Beyond the Wall at that point. It's super sad because of everything but also happy that they finally found each other

Going straight from the Red Wedding reactions to the reactions for Walder's death and the extinction of House Frey is the sweetest catharsis to me. After all these years, watching people's reactions to it hasn't really lessened the pain I guess, it's sad and brutal but ultimately it's fantasy you know? But it's certainly helped I think, justice for the Starks and I actually get to see other people's reactions compared to my own. Even Joffrey didn't really hit the same to me as he was a child at the end of the day, he was demolished mentally by his family and even his literal conception so I more pity him than hate, like Frodo with Gollum. The Freys though? Nah they can all suffer and die

It's fucking awful, I was the same as the first reactor when I first saw it. And in the books, Euron Greyjoy is EVEN WORSE THAN ANY OF THIS. *SPOILERS AND I GUESS TRIGGER WARNING* Euron admits to killing 3 of his own brothers. He touched at least two of his brothers when they were growing up and revels in his power to make them, "pray". He's easily the most vicious, ruthless pirate to ever live on Planetos, carving up whoever he wants for whatever reason gets him more power. His personal ship, the Silence, is named as such because all of the crew have their tongues cut out, and he willingly orders one to commit self-deletion so that he can show the true power of the Dragonbinder Horn to the Ironborn Kingsmoot. He captures Pyat Pree, the Warlock from Qaarth that tried to kill Daenerys with the Undying before fleeing the city, and cuts his legs off. When Pyat Pree's next seen he's tied to a mast of the Silence, screaming "Pree!" over and over. He also stole the Shade of the Evening from the Warlocks to indulge in it's psychadelic magic power, and not long after, Daenerys, a very young teenager, has a creepy dream where Euron forces himself on her. He sends a weird slave woman with one of his two surviving brothers, Victarion, as a "companion" if you know what I mean, but there's loads of evidence that she's either spying on Victarion for Euron somehow or even actively being possessed by Euron to do whatever with Victarion. The second option makes it so much worse personally cause we don't know if Euron's control over her is only via previous torture or if he has complete magical/mental control over her and is willingly, "participating", in the activites the Dusky Woman has with Victarion. Knowing George though, since it's the more horrific option, that's probably exactly what Euron is doing with the Dusky Woman. He ties his other surviving brother, Aeron Damphair, and loads of priests from every religion, to the prows of his ships and feeds Aeron drugs that give him horrific visions of Euron with tentacles sprouting from his face where he talks about, "A new god will be born from the charnal pits" and all the gods are false and Euron wants to become a new one, yadda yadda, typical villain monologue. Except all of these magical and godly people are being tied up for some kind of gigantic BLOOD SACRIFICE. And maybe even the worst of it all, he meets this lady named Falia Flowers (I think), convinces her that they're going to be married and all that, knocks her up, and then cuts out her tongue and also ties her to the mast of his ship alongside Aeron. So just on Euron's personal ship, his own priest brother, an insane and mutilated Warlock, and his own unborn child and it's mother, AT LEAST, are tied up and about to be murdered as sacrifices in, as Alt Shift X put it, "A gigantic orgy of death." Tywin, the Mountain, the Slavers in Slaver's Bay, the Freys, and the Boltons are evil, but Euron is at a level that only characters like Emperor Palpatine and Umbridge from Harry Potter have reached in my mind. I can't imagine how people would have reacted to all that when this scene alone is so much more horrific in the show than in the books. Seeing it depicted is worse than reading it or hearing it described

I like to think the Sister's Owl was there as a reminder to Anakin: remember Mortis. Remember the Ones. Remember what they sacrificed, only for him and Palpatine to destroy everything

The reason why this scene was so good was because the series spent 7 seasons to build up Dany's attack to Westeros. Unlike the: "I dun wun it, she mah kween" "Invisible Ninja Hero vs Night King" "Jon screaming match with an undead dragon" "Dany gone to madness in 2 episodes" "I'm can't be lord of anything, I'm the Three-Eyed Raven" "King bRaN tHe bRoKen"

Jamie was a good character because of the following reasons: 1) He always cared about and defended Tyrion 2) He was smart enough to know that the situation with the White Walkers was more important and dire than some silly war over the Throne 3) He cared about the soldiers under his command 4) He knew that he wasn't perfect, he knew he'd done terrible things 5) He apologized to Bran for what he did.

The scene of them talking has so much weight to it, even more than people realize. And the lighting really puts it in perspective. When Kenobi sees Anakin's face, his will immediately goes away again. He can't bring himself to hurt him anymore. And when Anakin says he is gone and Vader is what REMAINS, he's openly admitting his self hatred. But he doesn't even realize that is HIM talking. But what he says next is the most paramount. When Kenobi is in tears, and can't help but to just say sorry for everything, Anakin does something that is very nuanced. He's not trying to tell Kenobi he forgives him, but he's not trying to gloat either. He's literally just telling him what actually happened as far as he's concerned, and telling Kenobi to let the guilt go, because he shouldn't have any. He said "I am not your failure", because he literally is not. He is not the reason Anakin was destroyed. There are MANY reasons for that, but Kenobi was not. He was the only one who he felt was loyal to him, despite everything. Anakin wasn't speaking out of hate, ego or love. Just pure penence. Thats why his face was blue, not because he was good, but he was being pure.....
