দেশের প্রথম ডিজিটাল ব্যাংক হচ্ছে নগদ ও কড়ি। রোববার বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের বোর্ড সভায় এ দুটি ব্যাংককে লাইসেন্স দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত হয়। এ বিষয়ে শিগগিরই লেটার অভ ইনটেন্ট বা সম্মতিপত্র দেবে কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংক। এতে ডিজিটাল ব্যাংকগুলোকে অবকাঠামো নির্মাণ এবং কাজ শুরু করার জন্য সময় বেঁধে দেওয়া হবে। এছাড়া কয়েকটি সনাতনী ব্যাংকের উদ্যোগে গঠিত আরও তিন কনসোর্টিয়াম আবেদনকারীকে ডিজিটাল ব্যাংকিং উইন্ডো খোলার অনুমতি দেয়ারও সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে । পাশাপাশি নগদ ও কড়ি’র পারফরমেন্স মূল্যায়নের পর ডিজিটাল ব্যাংকের সংখ্যা বাড়তে পারে। নতুন ধারার এই ব্যাংকের লাইসেন্স পেতে ৫২ টি আবেদন জমা পড়ে।

Across the table a discussion on possibilities of IT always looks bright more so when when few are aware of the legal frailties which may surface. I am sure B Bank will not be in position to explain either about many of the possible "dangers" which may appear. Why Bikash did not qualify. Why Bikash and Nagad not asked to join hands a layman can ask. Bringing Bikash for their open comments would have given public a chance to appreciate the technical and "approval" issue better.

নগদ আমার ৫০০০ টাকা মেরে দিয়েছে। নগদের মাধ্যমে ইভ্যালিতে ৫০০০ টাকার পন্য ক্রয় করেছিলাম ২ বছর আগে। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক গ্যারান্টি দিয়েছিল পন্য না পেলে ১৫ দিনের মধ্যে টাকা ব্যাক দেওয়া হবে। দুই বছরেও নগদ আমার টাকা ফেরত দেয় নি।

@@Muntan_17 যেটা জানেননা সেটা নিয়ে মন্তব্য না করাই ভালো। সেসময় বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক দায়িত্ব নিয়েছিল যে এস্ক্রো এর মাধ্যমে কেনাকাটা করলে পন্য না পেলে রিফান্ড রিকুয়েস্টে পেমেন্ট গেটওয়ে টাকা ব্যাক দিবে৷ আমার টাকা ইভ্যালির কাছে নেই, আমার টাকা নগদের কাছে।
