Those 64's are so MUCH fun. They lag the majesticness and power of the 6s and above 90's. But in an environment where it is not guaranteed that you can land on the runway because it is a road you're on, 64s are perfect, just put them in the gras. That, you would not do with a 90mm, because there will be damage afterwards. And even on a specific runway... man 64's are so much fun and relaxing.

Try sometime by launching it from grabbing it by the thrust nozzles Rich ive had really good luck with this method yet hardly anybody does it that way. i do like what you made for it but needs to be painted grey next...hahaha
I did the same as you but made it from one of the two missile pods that came with it cut them down and glued them where you have..painted it all grey....

Nice one Rich! Great video on what I personally think is the coolest 64mm to date. I bought two of them and still way more money left in my wallet compared to if I'd purchased the 80mm.

its funny alot of smaller jets dont have a place on the underside to grab on too for hand launches but i have had really good success just holding it by the exit nozzles and point it up at a 45 degree angle....Works really good on the eflite F-15 Eagle Jet. that has nowhere to hold it on the underside belly
Hey Rich, can you tell me what the setup should be for my Dx6 transmitter and the servo lead connections for an AR 410 receiver? Is this considered a delta wing setup?
Yes, Its a delta setup. However, with the REFLEX and a non-stabilized receiver I think its already programmed into the Reflex.

Yes, canards are fixed. You glue them on.
Hoping to fly mine this weekend. Going to use the landing gear initially to get her trimmed so when I hand-launch should go well. I 3D printed a hand launch grip/skeg and epoxied in place. Also, I set the Reflex on a 3 pos switch so I can hand- launch her in 'safe' mode then once climb out is established I can switch to the standard rate gyro mode.
What were your final expo rates?

Nice hand launch modification. Did you hand launch with stabilizer or optimization? This Rafale has tendency to deep, go down when launching...

They are safe to buy from. They are backed by FMS directly. I'm pretty sure you can still pay with a credit card but through PayPal.
