Cole your calving experience sure bring back some nice memories for me, some 50 odd years ago my Dad, my brother and I were doing what you did today and I agree it is one of the most enjoyable events on the farm. I have to say love, honor and respect your father he will not steer you in the wrong direction, he's a good man.

Wow Cole, what a wonderful job you did on this video. Amazing all the things you got accomplished in one day. I just love how caring you are to all the mom's and babies. You need to give the outside cattle some "treats like pellets" because they are out in the cold and snow. Be safe and keep warm.

Looks like a very productive day at Sonne 'Frames' 🤠 I wanted to give you a heads up about the storm leaving here and potentially heading your way! I think the bulk of any moisture it can drop all landed right here on top of us so it might not have as much left to drop on you guys. BUT! geez!!! take any warnings seriously because omg, we are back to having to dig our way out and UP out of our house because over night we got close to three FEET of new snow...(and that is on top of the 8 feet on the level still here) and of course this means all the cows probably decided to calve last night. lol!! We are in a real mess here so you guys please stay safe. Here's hoping this storm in particular misses you!

Seeing that cow follow the calf sled takes me right back to when a cow rammed the old red Ford pickup truck. My Uncle George put the calf, plus a cousin and me in the pickup box. She was not happy that her sick calf was being taken to the barn. Uncle George laughed. . . . The fender was dented and the box moved over a bit. 😊 . . . repeat story. Thanks for your video and sharing your market results. You brought lots of smiles to me. You all deserve it for sure.

Loved this vid! So much going on, and a great variety! I can remember going to the sale barn with my grandpa and being amazed at the auctioneer. Such good memories. Btw, the sale barn was in Belle Fourche, SD. I miss those days….

Great job, awesome day. Farming is hard work and equipment and fuel, fertilizers, it all adds up. I think you guys do your best for the cattle and optimize your profits. It's really insane the cost of equipment nowadays. When I was growing up in the 70's 80's, yeah I'm as old your dad, my grandpa had 51 head of dairy cows, and we had 4 Farmall tractors to work 300 acres to feed them.

What a fun video. I commented before about seeing a calf being born start to finish. I have seen them born in previous years. Just missed this years birth.
