- DIY Earrings Using Paper Towel Rolls Pt. 1 You can create these gorgeous earrings that look like works of art, made simply out of a paper towel tube or a toilet paper tube, either one will work.
Supplies you will need:
Get your favorite paint colors
Earring findings
Scissors
Empty rolls
Awl or Hole Punch
Paint Brush
Card stock is optional

Would be gorgeous as hair barrettes also.
Pretty Rice papers or tissue paper mod podged to back works well too
Suggestion: double the cardboard, add two together. .this will make the earrings sturdier and still not heavy and they will not lose shape. Also, remember...always. .to paint all the edges. You are so creative! Kudos!
could even glue these to the wooden forms if necessary...
Thats exactly what I'd do too. Especially if your goal is making pendants.

Hello and happy Thursday and yes you could definitely use resin. I just don’t design a lot with it. I’m planning to try the dollar tree resin in the future just have not had time.
