F6F- 3 ハセガワ 1：32 折り畳み翼に改造

今回はハセガワの1：32のキットを折り畳み翼に改造しました。　もともとこの機体は空母の艦載機で折り畳み翼です。　　複雑な構造からキットでは実機のような折り畳みの出来る物がありません。　そこで今回これに調整した訳です。　　　その為には蝶番を真鍮板や真鍮パイプ材で自作しなければいけない訳です。　しかし、完成まじかで蝶番が壊れて途中からやり直したのですが・・・折り畳み翼の折り畳み角度が左右違ってしまい、今回は残念ながら半分失敗ですね。　　
当初は１．４ミリの真鍮パイプ材と１ミリの真鍮線でやったのですが、ハンダ付けが取れてしまい１ミリの真鍮線ではよれよれで曲がってしまいまた初めからやり直しました。
ハンダそのものの技術的な問題もあるので少々勉強しその結果何とか頑丈なものを作る事が出来ました・・。
また、今度は２．１ミリの真鍮パイプ材と１．４ミリの真鍮パイプ材に変えて蝶番を作り直しました。
ただの真鍮線よりもパイプ材の方が丈夫だし太さも大きくしました・・。
1：32の縮尺から見ても最初からこれでやれ良かったようです。
キャノピーは接着はしていません、またプロペラの軸がエンジンと一体成型でしてプロペラは接着すると回りません。　　スピナーの部分を切り取ってすれば回転は可能ですが。　ちょっと怖いしね。　　後、主翼の機銃弾装填扉は空けた状態も再現可能にしてあります。　別パーツで。　パイロットのフィギュアはキットの付属です。

Due to its complicated structure, the kit does not have anything that can be folded like the actual machine. "That's why we adjusted it this time." For that reason, you have to make your own hinges from brass plates and brass pipes. However, the hinge broke when I was about to complete it, so I started over halfway through... but the left and right folding angles of the folding wings were different, and unfortunately this time I failed halfway. 　　
At first, I used 1.4mm brass pipe material and 1mm brass wire, but the soldering came off and the 1mm brass wire was wobbly and bent, so I had to start all over again.
There was also a technical problem with the solder itself, so I studied a little and managed to make something sturdy as a result.
Also, this time I changed to 2.1mm brass pipe material and 1.4mm brass pipe material and remade the hinge.
The pipe material is stronger and thicker than just a brass wire.
Judging from the scale of 1:32, it seems that this was good from the beginning.
The canopy is not glued, and the propeller shaft is integrally molded with the engine, so the propeller does not rotate when glued. 　　It is possible to rotate if you cut off the spinner part. "It's a little scary." After that, the machine gun ammunition loading door on the main wing can also be recreated in an open state. with separate parts. "A pilot figure is included with the kit."

さすが1/32は迫力がありますね。真鍮パイプと真鍮版で蝶番を作るのは大変ですね。はんだ付けにはちょっとコツがあって私も苦労しました。

私も1：32は初めてでした、確かに迫力は凄いですね～。　電飾のハンダはよくやってますが、蝶番は力が加わりますので相当頑丈にくっ付けないと駄目ですね。　後一歩のところで取れちゃいまして相当めげました。

グラマンの折り畳みは断トツで優れてるな。とてもシンプルな直線と曲線で作られた機体の中に美しい仕組みがあるのは惚れ惚れする。折り畳みできるのを特徴にしたキットとか出て欲しい。1/32の大きさでも主脚の捻りこみ収納は無理そうでしたか？

有難う御座います、この1：32のキットでの折り畳み改造は初めてでしてあくまで練習のつもりです。　なので折り畳みもまだ完全では無いのです。　蝶番の自作から始めたのですが力の掛かる場所でハンダ付けでは無理があり何度も壊れてしまいました。　　一応完成したのはF4Fー3の1：48ワイルドキャットは上手く出来ました。　　これには市販の極小蝶番を使用し1：3ほど削ってはめ込みました。　　なので1：32のヘルキャットの主脚の稼働まではやってみないと分かりませんが難しいかと思いますね。　Ｆ４Ｆの動画もアップしていますので御覧頂けたらと思います。
