How to install lower and upper kitchen cabinets in a new house. There is some math involved when installing kitchen cabinets. Follow these tips for a professional outcome that adds up to a beautiful kitchen!

Would have helped to explain what you were doing. What are the shims used for? How do you fasten to the wall? Where is the best placement of the screws? Etc. etc.
Great Video,do you leave shimes in and break off whats showing or remove them all after screwing cabinets?? I am installing myself tomorrow first time and need all the help i can get. TY

yes is the tape mesure because the edges of the two cabin is not the same the right side is more out so he put the tape mesure to control if the difference is the same from up and down ,

At 1:31 minutes into the vid' your measure vertically top-to-bottom with your tape measure. Why??

score your shims and break them off.
unless you need your shims for an ajoining box, then leave them.
cheap cabinets but pretty good vid so anyone can put these in very easy

I don't believe shimming with shakes they tend to spilt and fallout over time and leave a gap with only a screw and a gap. Thin veneers and plywood far better choice. Just check the walls for plum and plan accordingly.

Not sure why they're not hanging the wall cabinets first. Oh I see now what the problem is, they're harry homeowners using dewalt tools.

explaining what you were doing instead of background music might have helped those with no idea what you were doing. not much how to in this one. but then i quit watching halfway thru.
