Sandra here, from Victoria, BC. I just wanted to say that I love your channel. You are so kind and patient, and you definitely work hard to provide for your diamonds in the ruff. I see you collecting goods for sale on eBay just so that you have money to provide for your horses. You are such a good person.
I love the longer videos. I realize they are more work for you , but I love watching you with the horses.
I really like your approach to handling Scarlett. Patience is a gift when working with horses. You have it.
Scarlet is a very fortunate horse to have you as a trainer!
$25 auction horse Scarlett is priceless
Patience is truly the name of the game.
I don’t care how long you’re videos are I’m still going to watch them I really like them
Great format and showing how to calmly work with a young horse. No drama, thank God, gentle training. ❤❤❤
I love your shows and your warm, practical, gentle manner. Lucky horses
I have no idea why I am watching this. But I am liking it ❤
Well done.! i like your VERY patient method, as apposed to having a tug of war with a lariat rope. Best wishes from Australia
Make your videos as long as you want. I’m all ears and eyeballs glued to my phone.
I love the approach you take with such a young and unhandled baby. She’s adorable. Good luck with her in the future.
I love this because you're talking! Also like how you increased the speed without losing anything. I subscribed!
Yay! Thank you!
I completely agree with your methods. I love seeing confidence and trust overcome fear.
Thank you for having the care and patience to spend your time with her. This will all be so worth it!
You are very good at understanding these creatures and bringing them to their potential. What a God send for the horses going thru your facility.
I, too, also enjoy these longer videos, and I really enjoy your commentary. It's interesting and helpful to know what you're trying to accomplish, along with your analysis of what's happening and your evaluation of your horse's response.
I love this format! It's perfect! Thank you so much for sharing your journey! ❤
Well, 10 months on at my posting...guess you have found your groove! 😁
Love seeing how Scarlet is doing and love that you have little helpers...what a life!!! So glad for you! You are making such an impact...keep the positive vibe, it's very contagious, and thanks again for sharing your world with us...❤❤❤
I love the videos where we can see horse training in action
That's very interesting. I saw just the short versions of your training till now, which suggest it is way easier to train a horse. The long version shows, how much work it is in real. Respect madam. 👌
Loved the length of this vlog! Your calmness and patients Isaac winning success!
This is a great format! Scarlett did so well in this session. I appreciate your gentle, calming method of groundwork. I find it fascinating that Scarlett does so much better with you on her right side than on her left. I wonder about the reason for this. You seem to be slowly gaining her acceptance. Excellent interaction with her! ❤
Love any length of video, Scarlett is quite quick to learn i think you kindness and patience is paying off. ❤❤❤
Let me start by saying it looks absolutely gorgeous in the background and it must be a wonderful place to live!!😊 I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to horses 😢😢. Never really been around them that much. I have spent limited time around a paint my brother in law had and always enjoyed it. Watching you training Scarlett makes me wonder what she wants during this time? I watch another trainer and he is out of Missouri. It's both sad and encouraging. Sad that they are just scared and don't necessarily understand and you (I) just want to put your arms around them and just hug the fear out of them. Of course you can't, but I guess that's a parent (dad) talking. It's then encouraging to see when the horse shows a little acceptance to you when they start relaxing with your moves. Do you use treats, apples, carrots or whatever in your training?? Are you a trainer that keeps her horses or are they to be sold later on?? I'll leave on this wondering what it's like to be around these beautiful animals everyday. Have a good day and I'll be a subscriber. Thanks for caring for 1 of God's most beautiful, powerful and graceful creations. Horses truly are spectacular to observe and admire😊😊
My philosophy in training is to keep their fear, anxiety, and stress low. They just learn better that way! I don't really use treats in regular training. In order to help more horses I do sell them eventually, but it is usually after a significant amount of time (years) so they are well prepared to be successful in a new home.
Thanks for sharing this series. There’s no horses here and you videos are real treats for me. ❤
You are so welcome!
LOL, had to replay...thought the jets were overhead (we also have them) but it was on your vid...yep that can freak out anyone when they are so low the ground shakes and it hurts my ears. Great work with this gal, slow and steady!
Great format and extremely interesting! Thank you 😊
I really enjoy your longer videos, but I know it's more work for you...I will watch any and all of your videos. As you can see I have started from the beginning lol. Thank you so much for sharing!
Learning so much from you. This one was excellent. Thanks, D
Loving your patience, your gentle confident approach😊 also love the gentle music ,so relaxing! thank you
Wonderfully relaxing watching you do what you're meant to be doing.
Treats really help with halter breaking as well ❤❤❤❤
Hi!
This format is perfect.
Just love the way you train her.
I will subscribe to your channel.
What I would really like is to see the whole process of you training a horse to be backed ( step by step)
Im aware of the fact that Scarlett is only ten months old.
Do you have another horse that you could show us on?
I sure do!! I bought 3 others last spring that were in various states of neglect that are now ready for their training. I am planning on doing a series with them as I get them ready to ride!.
Totally cool video. I enjoyed this interaction with Scarlett. Ty.
I don't know anything about horses but I love to watch your videos. Aloha from Hilo Hawaii
I enjoy you explaining your reasons for taking time with each horse.
It was just great and fun.😊
Day 1 in the books. Scarlett did well!
This format is great.
I liked this. Nice to see you work with her and calming her 😊 ❤
Nice session 👍 thank you. Good job Scarlett 👏
Love your format. You do so great with her
Patience is preferable.
Any and all videos are perfect for me. You’re a natural teacher.
My question would be do you ever use treats when you’re teaching a behavior and they do it?
Keep it up! Educational
It’s wonderful to watch you get her ready for a halter, so patiently but persistent in a cool sort of way.
I’ve ridden on an Indian pony-trained by our teenaged guide-climbing up out of Havasupai Canyon in AZ. I was impressed with how calm and unflappable the horses were, and how the use of a rope did not faze my mare.
I always wondered about the methods used in training these little brown mustangs.
You should get a bale barn for they're pens, it keeps the hay from getting wet from the weather, not sure the cost though ❤
Yes but also rubs their main off..
Sweet baby❤🐎
Amazing patience❤
Love this video! You are my horse hero
Steve Young Horsemanship shows halter training...
A wonderful vid....I could see the progression as Scarlett starts to settle. Small things can cause panic for sure. A good session. Thanks.
Love this video!
Lovely watching training ❤ But do think she has problems with her left eye? Just wondered.
Nope, she is normal now!
I meant to ask if Scarlett(?) suffered any kind of injury to her left eye or if most horses favor 1 side over the other??
Every horse starts with a side they favor most. It's up to the trainer/ owner to desensitize the less favorable side. The Clever Cowgirl is doing this perfectly and slowly. 😊
Most horses do have a more dominant side and it is very apparent when they have no prior training! She did have some evidence of prior facial injury when I got her so that could certainly be a contributing factor.
Great way to teach these handling skills. Thank you for posting.
Enjoyed this video very much. Love watching you train
I am a new subscriber, really enjoying your channel, I know nothing about horses but you make it so interesting and you certainly have a huge skill set dealing with them. JillX
You have awesome patience 🙌🙌🙌🎼
Love this in depth peek into your methods. Awesome!
Wow, thats quite a jump for her, how tall are the panels?
( You could number each session ON THE SCREEN so we know if we have missed one to then go look for it .. ❤)
That is a great idea! I don't know if I can change it now though, next series !
you are like a "yoga-horse" instructor--beautiful namaste🙏❤
Is she blind in her left eye? Just curious as to why she doesn't want you on her left side
no, she was just more guarded on that side. Totally normal. She is much better now!
❤❤❤❤
Interesting!
10 mos. old? What breed is Scarlett? She has great conformation!

👍👍👍👍👍👍
Is the what looks like her lip licking her calming down?
I would like to see you ground drive Scarlet
In the spring for sure!! ❤
YES ABSOLUTELY
I WISH ALL OF THE UTUBERS WOULD DO IT THIS WAY
I HAVE BEEN SCROLLING THROUGH SO MANY
OTHERS VIDS THAT ARE WAY TOO LONG
WHICH UNFORTUNATELY RISKS MISSING SOME
GOOD STUFF BUT IS BETTER THAN SITTING THROUGH
A LOT OF CRAP
GOOD LUCK HAVE SUBD
Thank you! I am glad you found me!
👍👍
Does she have poor eyesight in her left eye?
No, this is pretty normal
3:14 - low sound; can barely hear what you are sayying.
Is she blind in that eye?
No
Your narration of this video sounds less monotone and autistic- more pleasant for the viewer
A MAZING... SO SPECIAL TO WATCH... THANKYOU BOTH...!! AND STEWIE IN THE BACKGROUND... 😊
I found your channel recently and I've been watching new ones as they come along. But I was intrigued by this title yesterday, so I watched it, and I am captivated by your methods and rapport with this Scarlett girl. I now realize I MUST go back into your catalog and watch all the episodes!! 🤎🖤
❤❤❤
