    Beautiful setup... Love the EFIS...! Your touch control tells me you've been a rotor-wing guy for quite a while.... Thanks for posting a VERY nice Vid... Gordon in Maryland... (soloed in the OH-23 back in the Spring of '68 at Ft Wolters...)

    How did you get that interior to look so good? Did you do it yourself or have a upholster shop do it?

    I really want one of these! Question, how comes the PIC sits on the left? I thought that was only in fixed wing aircraft but I've noticed everyone sits on the left in these?

    • @pascal66990
      @pascal66990  Před 10 lety +1

      You can fly either seat but left is more logical ,circuit pattern are on the left for example

      The early Helos were mostly military and the radios were in the center console. Kinda hard to fly with the right hand on the cyclic and dial radios with the left if you're on the left side.

    Very nice flight & the digital instrument panel is fantastic. Thanks for sharing!
    That helicopter seems to have plenty of power with the turbine, is that the de-rated Rolls-Royce engine?

    • @pascal66990
      @pascal66990  Před 10 lety

      Thank you for your comments . It is a solar turbine engine with plenty of power

      pascal Perrouin You are so fortunate to own that helicopter, power,beautiful aircraft & it is yours!
      I just flew my first helicopter two months ago, a Schweizer 300 CBi I loved the feeling of controlling it in flight. Hovering it of course is tough for the first time, but I knew that from flying radio controlled helicopters for 12 years. But I did fairly well in the hover with a 10 M.P.H. sidewind.
      I hear it takes about 10 hours of hovering to get it into perspective.
      I have a short 5 minute video on my channel of me hovering if you would like to see how I did.
      Thanks for sharing your video in flight, I enjoyed it!
      Keep sending them up, please!

    Nice rotor balance, just watched a crash video where the balance was so bad it should not have been flying, and crashed.

      Hi Joel
      You need a PPl (H)and a turbine endorsement , Rules may change with different country

      @JoelR777 Před 10 lety

      I live Brisbane and have flown a R22 before.
      Any chance to come for a flight in the Rotaway, willing to pay for fuel?
