- Blinis with smoked salmon is a classic hors d'oeuvre that often appears on the menu of caterers and function venues a-like. And the reason is simple: it's a classic that everybody loves. It's elegant. It's easy to make in large volume.
And it isn't hard to make at all. They're just mini pancakes with a smear of crème fraîche and a bit of smoked salmon plonked on top. No big deal!

I’m not a salmon person, so I never tried salmon blinis. I definitely thought they were crunchy like bruschetta toasts. Learning new things is why I watch ALL your uploads - even when I don’t think they’ll be relevant to me. :)

Usually I make rye seeded bagels but I think I'm, going to try this. Oh and Buckwheat is MARVELOUS in pancakes with Grade B Maple syrup make the batter very thick and use a ton of butter to fry 'em

the hardest part is making the blinis properly, so many factors go into making them taste good with a good texture
