David should split his panoramas into squares and post them as a slideshow, it's pretty common on Instagram.
It just feels like every social media app is becoming the same which sucks.
I miss the days when every social media app felt unique and didn't just copy 99% of the features from every other popular app.

I think they were testing waters with that, they might still make a separate platform. I'd be down for it, though. Not everyone wants to just keep watching videos. As my 30s start, some stories, photos and maybe 1-2 videos... I'm ready to retire from social media lol
Honestly this would be a good opportunity for TikTok to create an app that brings back everything Instagram got rid of. For example, make it JUST a photo sharing app, put our feed in chronological order, and only show us people we don’t know on the explore page. Maybe they can reverse psychology Instagram into stealing their old platform back, lol.
I had TikTok and instagram but deleted both so you don’t have to David. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. People that stay themself and don’t want to do something everything is doing are the once who deserve respect.

I feel like Instagram should keep reels but only in the reels tab and leave the home feed for just photos. I feel like that makes the best of both worlds and keeps me from having extra apps. Just everything in one place.
I recommend VERO for photography. There's no compression, and it supports ratios that other platforms don't.

I think the holding vs tapping a reel thing is some sort of A/B test. On one of my accounts, If I tap it mutes the video while on the other account it pauses the video

I also found out holding paused the video and i was so mad at that UX
Andrew, Reel controls are not the same on android and iphone. Thats why it mutes for you and pauses for others

Im one that hated video when it came to flicker, then loved Instagram, then the videos attacked, somehow we cant gace good photo apps anymore.

on tik tok if you hold it, on the side of the screen, like right above the user's icon, it changes it to 2x speed. only as long as you're holding it, if you let go, it goes back to normal speed. it's great to watch those long ass story telling videos that take 5 minutes to tell a 1 minute story

- majority congress voted to ban tiktok so yes it’s been decided just need to be signed by the president.
- It’ll shut down in the u.s
- the CZcams audience is mostly Americans so this doesn’t need to be a video unless the content is geared towards other countries other than the U.s
@@KJ-ql4nm has to go through senate first, where previous attempts to ban it have died. Also, India has the largest CZcams population by a huge margin. I can tell you're American by how wrong you are.
edit: nearly forgot, no, it's not necessarily shutting down, the US part can also be sold. You're wrong there as well.
Tik Tok is so much better than any other app out there. It's way more fun.
