Liquid cooling is most efficient.Liquid cooling is for those bikes who heat more. And they heat more because of more compression ratio. More compression is because so it can make more power in less cc engine. Less cc is because so it can be lite weight.lite weight is made to make more pickup . That's it.
Enfield bikes have more cc. but less power ,they have less compression ratio. Hence they produce less heat. That's why liquid cooling is not used there.🥰

The fact that RE is building Euro 5 compliant engines without water cooling is actually kind of amazing.
it is liquid cooled not water cooled... the liquid used is a coolant, that has a higher boiling point... also if someone is stupid enough to experiment by putting in water, to save cost, their pipes will corrode, which means they will break to allow the water mix with petrol and engine oil and the engine will need to be replaced within 2-3 months...
Even for super computers that require liquid cooling, no sane person will use water to cool... for the same reason, if the pipes break, you can say goodbyes to all the electronics in your million dollar computer...

Well the problem is demanding of right things isn't exists in every person in society. This phenomenon applies everywhere and in every sector but Indians doesn't thought about it much. Even HDs do not have LC engines, harleys and REs are two such manufacturers who are resistant to changes. That is why they attract different set of customers who love old school technology.

There’s nothing like oil cooled engine, bike’s having small radiator for cooling the oil, not the engine cylinder or it’s head, there are bikes with both liquid cooling for engine and small radiator for cooling the engine oil( few ducatis are featuring this feature), most of the bikes in India with oil cooler are still air cooled, it’s just two types of engine air cooled and liquid cooled, there are hybrids as well but not many with just liquid cooling for the engine head and cylinders are still air cooled, examples are BMW GS1200/1250 R
Basically every engine is liquid and air cooled. Oil is a liquid and when that liquid travels through a network of tubes that maximise the surface area for the transfer of heat through convection.
Both oil cooled and Water cooled engines have the same principle but the difference lies with the heat capacity of oil vs water.
Bt suzuki bikes are proper oil cooled engine bikes jo ke head ko he cool kerti hai or iska innovation bhi suzuki ne he kiya tha

Still, as of 2021, the vast majority of Harley-Davidson's motorcycles are air-cooled, air cool or oil it does not matter , I have seen many liquid cooled engines get hotter than air cooled , the main thing is that you have to know to care your bike. Nice video. I own an interceptor 650 (chrome) & a ktm 390 adventure (2022 variant). In terms of power both are almost same. Interceptor gets initial torque where as ktm get on the higher band. 390 adventure has top speed of almost 170 kmph same as interceptor but major difference comes with how it manages heat. I can easily wear boxer shots on my 390 adventure which has dual fans liquid cooled engine where as on my interceptor my leg hairs will be roasted 😂. Both are great bikes & value for money but if I would personally choose a winner that would be 390 adv as it is all rounder jack of all bike, best for touring & you can make it an awesome off roading bike only with some added accessories 👍.
