The smaller the boat, the more innovation and efficient use of space. I really like them!!! And of course it's great that you also pay attention to these types of ships, Nick!
This is why I prefer seeing the crew quarters rather than the guest quarters. I love seeing smart use of space and how the designers figured out how to fit everything in and still have it work.
What a clever boat! I love how well they've managed to use every little bit of the hull to it's maximal potential!

The Axopar design is very hot,
you even get a second bed,
but believe it or believe it not,
that is located above the toilet.
Seriously, I had the opportunity to look at an Axopar 45 XC Cross Cabin at the Düsseldorf Boat Show last year. And I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised by the boat, because it really has a lot of clever ideas in it. So thank you for introducing the 'little sister'.
Love the gunnel access on port and stbd. an ABSOLUTE MUST. These other manufacturers that offset their cabins or have no access must not actually use their boats.
You do not always have a choice which side you have to pull up to a doc or another boat. Plus, as my wife keeps pointing out, if she can't easily get on/off the boat and get to lines and fenders it's a no go:-) She is smart....
Try to use the cabins while it's raining. And no ventilation in any of those. You have to close them during the night, or everything will get wet.......
It's really a go fast from point A to point B boat. Even the 37XC is like that. The 45XC is a bit better, but the heads are still abysmal on it.
There is TONS of ventilation, not sure what you're referring to.
That is a great little boat for the day / weekend, well equipped and enough room for its size. Nice tour Nick thank you.

I do enjoy these smaller boats! Packaging somewhat compromised, if viewed compared to a cruising sports boat, but adds a layer of usability when compared to a more out-and-out open sports boat. Thanks for the tour!
Yes Nick the poop shoot is a very important feature ! In fact I consider it the most important on a small boat !
When you’re 3 miles out, nothing wrong with hanging your bum over the edge. 😂

I love this 👍 adventure perfect. I'd be interested in one that is more cruiser in hull and distance performance , yes i understand it's not that 🫡😁 i really like the entire vessel, I'd be looking to get inland more often. Canal, river, large lakes... I'm thinking there is room for a little more crossover. Super cool boat 👍 thanks Nick
What an unusual, fascinating, boat. Great use of space and handy for skipping along the coast, laying up and enjoying the scenery. Love it 😊
We saw the 29 too at the Swanwick boat show. Currently have a 28 and we were very impressed with the raft of improvements on the 29. Agreed, the bed-toilet is a bit of a compromise (as Nick says, most folk use the harbour facilities as much as possible) but overall the family fun these boats deliver at the price is amazing.

Add a hammock in the main cabin area = voilá!
(In case you're wondering how old people are supposed to get out of a hammock: mount the hammock on electric winches with a remote control so you can lower yourself to the floor if you can't otherwise get out...or lower one end to the floor.)

Absolute cracking boat. Very well thought out. I personally wouldn’t have as powerful engines and sacrifice speed for economy. It’s the stupid details that catch my eye, like the steps into the sleeping area and the sides of the seats being created from wood and not stainless or grp. Seems very reasonably priced also. Affordable to many

Very innovative young person’s transformer boat. Lots of performance mixed with a dash of amenities. Makes me wonder what the next couple of decades will bring us. Thanks Nick for bringing a wide variety of vessels to our attention. I found this little pocket rocket very interesting. We both know that knocking on the door of fifty knots for a family style boat qualifies as a rocket😎

What Nick didn't show us is the table folds out to a jacuzzi, the engine doubles as a BBQ and the roof is actually a golf course. I love boats that make use of all the space in such innovative ways.

I am regularly out in the Solent in either a RHIB or small sports boat and on a "typical Solent" day we are bashed around like crazy. I see a lot of Axopars and they look like they are almost gliding. Any owners here can attest to that? I assume they are great boats for "typical Solent" weather
Hi nick, And thank you for again a great show from you this time this brand new Axopar 29 XC a good looking speedboat with some nice accomodation onboard sleeps four when needed even a toilet and sink in the forward space very need done but not a yacht what I like or change the outboard for electric ones but a great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yes, it is very different. I really appreciate seeing some of these smaller boats. Definitely not a boat you could spend a week on. However, as noted, it has a different purpose. They've used every inch of space. I'm claustrophobic, so I couldn't use either sleeping area. But still a nice boat for day cruising.

Nick, let me understand this right, that round hole thingy at the back of the boat is for tying a rope on and then the other end is for my McVittee's Digestives, yes? To cool them down from melting in the heat, yes? Some odd chap told me the other day that a fridge is for cooling things. I told him, no it can't be because it's just a place to store valuables. I know this because you kindly showed us the insides of a fridge some day about a month or so back. Appreciate that very much!!
Very nice! I do like a day-boat that actually has a toilet and even a proper bed area. There are times when my wife or daughter want to nap while I am fishing. This cabin area is just great for that.
Really like this as a weekender. Plenty of fishing room. Only thing I am not to keen on is the placement of the circuit panel.

Excellent presentation from Nick as usual , but not the boat that I would choose. I think a Merry Fisher 895 has a lot more to offer.
In terms of space, the Merry Fisher offers much more. The problem arises when navigating in less that obtimal sea conditions, where the Axopar is absolutely superior.
By no means a yacht but it could be a tender or a dayboat. The packaging is outstanding...with the exception of no cooking facilities. The possible addition of that barbecue pod you mentioned would be an important improvement.

I was thinking the other day what’s the best boat under 30 feet and much to my surprise this comes along, quite an interesting design and works quite well. I’d be curious to see what others think.

Add a removable center part of the captain's seat cushion and make that a 2nd toilet! 😅 That brings full access from both cabins to a nightly toilet visit!

Just a bit too big to tow on the road in the UK, but still, great boat. I could see me swapping my Highfield rib for one of these in a few years when the family is a bit older, and the Axopars are available on the used market. I'd go for a single 350 or 400 rather than twins. Less servicing costs, better fuel consumption.
The Viggo C8 is towable …won’t fall apart either ..
