Sounds like the storm we had Sat. Night. It sat on top of us for over an hour. Knocked out the AC and blew the oven broiler element. I heard a sizzle, my husband say a flash of fire in the oven. No more sleep for us. Stay safe and keep the blanket high.
Blows my mind when blueberries are "on sale" for $2.49 pint! Not so long ago, when I lived in NJ, "on sale" was .99 pint. 🥴

Lol, I’m sorry Amy, I should not laugh. You should have been with me Saturday before last. Rearranging my closet and I go “ yay it’s pouring rain ☔️, no wait, no no it’s hailing “. Wind roaring, hail, rain, thunder, full 9 yards of storm that wasn’t supposed to hit us. We stood at the patio door watching the patio flood and hail pile up. Then top blew out a dead pine totally took out a section of metal fencing and messed another section, power goes out 15 minutes into storm. Got power back at 2am but some folks went days without power. Those kind scare the poo out of me but a regular thunderstorm I snuggle down and enjoy. You need to buy the Herbs of something ( lol) potato sticks in this weeks ad. Yum-o. I do have on complaint, I’m missing my “lobster roll dip” and there’s a salmon dip too. It’s been a long( to long) while since I’ve seen them. Hugs.

That thunder was loud!!
The one that got cut out was way worse. It definitely had to hit an electrical breaker. It's calm right now supposed to start again in a couple hours.

Getting 5 pools, planting a garden in them
Planta that have shallow roots would work. Lettuce, chard, spinach, carrots, radishes, zuchinni and cucumbers, flowers. Deep soil for roots of potatoes, tomatoes, peppers need deeper soil. Good luck with it. Fun to garden.

East County San Diego Cali 43 yr old woman here. I think we get 2 maybe 3 thunderstorms a year.... I absolutely HATE them. I jump and scream when there's clashes of thunder that loud. Yrs ago when my children were little it took everything I had to not show how frightened I was. I have a lot of phobias so I didn't want my kids to be afraid of things like me. I figured if I acted scared they would be conditioned to be scared but if I put on a brave face they wouldn't be afraid. And it worked only 1 of my 5 kids has some phobias like mine the rest aren't afraid of anything. Gotta love genetics.
