Those look super nice!!
They look utter crap. Stick with the old ones. The “quilted leather effect” would look semi acceptable in a Zonda
Definitely depends on the car if it can pull of this look, thanks for the feedback!
I agree. Ali express special...
Very nice all weather mats. Still love my plush carpet but I’m in AZ so just a quick vacuums and bueno.
Those mats look just like Tuxmat. Look into those also.
I got a set of Tux Mats, no complaints, very precise fit.
I think my customer's Tesla Model Y had the double layer version. They were in for about a year, held up really well in S. Florida. Of course, we don't get snow down here. She kept the original Tesla mats, then layered these on top. Kept the carpet pretty clean, but having to vac/clean three sets of mats were a PITA
The BIG question is how will they hold up to a Chicago winter! I don't think that is snows much in Dubai, right?! LOL
SALT and all !!
Weather tech is also in Chicagoland, easy precise fit and durable for a brutal Chicago winter. Jason - you guys don’t get along???
The owner is a known pompous asshole so perhaps Jason knows him, but like many others, prefers not to do business with him 🤔
They fold long term, and crinkle. I live in Florida and they get bad here I switched to 3D.
@@patricktuggles4815 they also stain and never clean up no matter how well you clean them. Husky floor mats are pretty good too
WeatherTech isn't some high-end brand. They are built to a price point like most things.
@@masonhansen1023pressure wash, dry, and then spray down with tire shine . That’s how you get them looking brand new
I like the front ones. They go really high on all sides which is perfect for places where it snows. I'm skeptical of the rear ones. They should have a lip in the front (the part that goes under the front seats) like weathertech mats do. They contain water/salt in the mat, whereas with this design, the water would run off and go under the front seats.
Would love to see/hear your thoughts on the fitment. The rear ones did not look like they fit very well. Thanks for reviewing and introducing us to a new category of product!
Very similar for 25$ on AliExpress 🤷🏻♂️
Really cool looking mats and they look gorgeous. I have to wonder how they would hold up to those who wear working boots daily? Plus I’m odd and drive with two feet.
I would flip them, do the white double layer in the front and black on the back. Either color the mats look great!
Had one of the "China" mat sets in my car and found them to be great quality and a good fit. However not suitable for a manual vehicle as a hole developed with my clutch foot moving back and forth. Since they cover the whole footwell it isn't necessary to clean the carpet underneath. Very easy to clean without taking them out of the car. A quick squirt of apc and they were like new...apart from the hole of course.
These look great.
They should make them with sound insulation, do they cut down on any road noise ?
Beautiful mats if you live in a warm climate!!!! Chicago winters would destroy those
White double layer all around. The fabric on top will prevent the stitching from wearing out from heel friction. 👠
To make those mats look really great put the ends under the plastic, I have those mats in my Buick Regal and I have it that way and it looks great.
Do you have a follow-up video?
Try Tux Matt’s they are great
Jason, I came across F1 mats in search of offering really good floor mats for my customers as well. I ordered them and they are being customized for the cargo area. The research I found is that F1 is the only premium mat maker that does not have a China factory. They make them themselves. I am already convinced these are the best non factory premium mats available based on that information
your research was not enough, F1 is dropshipping the mats from a Chinese owned small workshop located in Ajman, UAE, the name of the shop is Baraka Floor Mats; you can look it up on google
@@ob4485 yeah, so I googled it and it's nonsense because nothing of what your saying came up in any way
Headquarters in America but their manufacturing facility is in Dubai.
@@winedrinker69 so what
This company makes you wait forever. I have been waiting more then 2 months to receive them and till now they give me excuses that they are trying to get them fit perfectly with my Audi. Nothing but excuses don't buy from this company. This CZcams guy is promoting them because he got them for free since he is a CZcamsr. The real people have to pay close to 500 dollars like I did and wait forever and till now I haven't received crap. I'm trying to get my money back.
I’m 90 miles north I know what salt does looks better for summer.
The black ones! The double lay seems kinda overkill...plus you loose the visibility of the pattern you choose to have made. single layer all the way. color wise, depends.
With they hold water. Or does it soak through?
After trying several brands, 3D Maxpider mats have been the best I've used. Easy to clean, look sleek and don't turn white/chalky like Weathertechs.
I just searched for this Online and these look pretty cool! Front and 2nd row all for $180, a lot better than $439 for these F1 thingies! I have Husky now but might try these 3D ones. Have you ever used Weather Tech or Husky?
@@MidwestMotor yes, I’ve used both. Had weathertech for years but they all eventually got chalk/white and looked awful. Husky are okay, just a little too “rugged” looking, if that makes sense. The 3D ones are super sleek without sacrificing any protection.
@@unrealorbit yeah, my WeatherTech ones actually had the logo come off the mat - it's a nice 3D-like soft logo but with rugged use it pops off if hit with a boot/shoe - it's just a sticker-back. I'm now debating between these and the Tux Mats. Thanks for the reply.
@@MidwestMotor what dis you end up going with
@@codhruv839 nothing yet. Still have my WeatherTech ones.
The black on top does not seem to be how it’s supposed to look? Looks horrible?
Why didn’t you show how to clean them up and how they work going in and out vehicle if they move. If they clean up east etc instead just install. Ugh.
Perfect fit my arse lol
I'm willing to bet these are all made in China regardless of what the box says.
The "double layer" seems a little silly to me. Basically a mat for your mats. I think most people who are buying this are doing so for the quilted, plush look. If it were only for protection then there are other, more durable options like Tuxmat.
The black with white stitching looks great. White will just get soiled quick. Would like to see a video of the cleaning process after a few months of use.
Black w/ white stripes is much better IMO.
Can't go wrong with WeatherTech mats!
I personally would prefer Husky over these and I've owned both
To each their own but I always found these super tacky looking. I think the main reason these don’t look as bad is because of the minimalist interior of the Tesla. In other cars with more going on I feel it looks really bad and makes it look like too much is going on. For areas with nasty winters rubber all the way.
Let's not lie they look cheesy!!!!!
@James Lee Also, there is alot of hate towards mats like these with the diamond stitching. Car enthusiasts will bash on owners with these in their cars
@@scottpilgrim7589 why
@@scottpilgrim7589who cares.
The diamond stitch is a bit cheesy. The stripe sticking on their site isn’t bad. I wish they had something more solid, and not quilted looking
Yeah, not sure these Dubai mats belong in a northern climate. Can't imagine what they would look like after a Montreal winter. I'll stick with my WeatherTech's.
The fit looks terrible. So is the drivers side just going to just be flopping around? The rear looks like it’s too big on both of them. I get it’s supposed to look fancy but it looks cheap and tacky. If it all fit together better, I could see it. The price is just expensive enough to where the fit is really disappointing.
I bought mine from All Time Mats. the quality is superb, better than F1 imo
I prefer ordering from Maxx car mats since all companies offer China made products of similar quality, with the only distinction being their profit margin
This guy looks like Vinnie from orange county choppers.
I'm curious how they will hold up to big boots and high heels. On camera looks like they will wear big time
I'm a big fan of the TuxMats. Got them for my M240i (which was in your shop 2 weeks ago!) and I can say I already like them better than weatherTech
Man - these look great also! I have Husky now but they don't go up that far on the console side, not that is really necessary. But these and those 3D Max ones caught my eye! Have you tried either Weather Tech or Husky and have any comparison notes VS these Tux mats?
These hideous mats have been pushed online for years. If people weren’t paid to promote them, no one would buy them. These are a joke in car enthusiast circles.
Not for me. Don't like the stitching. Up her in the NE that will look crummy in about 2 weeks in my every day driver. You didn't mention how to maintain them but I will stick with my mats for now.
Imagine how these mats will look after a season, either winter or summer, doesn't matter.
Also, how are the floor mats when it comes to dealing with water? Is the question... I have a manual and I don't want my shoes to be soaked in water while driving
@@scottpilgrim7589 Why would you have water in the footwells? And why does a manual matter?
@Tim kinley Because I have had Weather Tech floor mats and the water from outside when raining, stepping into the car would cause the water to be in the foot well. Also, driving a manual would make a bit difficult trying to push the clutch in and out with having wet shoes
Some people just find a reason to criticize even the best of products
@@scottpilgrim7589 You are referring to vinyl/rubber mats vs fabric. Not the specific brand WeatherTech. You may be better suited for a mat with a tall-ribbed design. I'm not a rubber mat fan on my own vehicles. But for others, it's way more practical. None of what I typed is rocket science or something you don't know. My original response was to your original post.
Man... They look like the inside of a coffin!!
White on white is a bit much.
As you know, Weather Tech is made in your backyard. Too bad you can't partner with them? Personally I am not interested in products made outside the US.
They do sell them for several years now.
Velcro in the wrong position?? That means it does not fit 100% .
I don't like them. I like the 3D mats better.
Nope. I'll stick with 3D.
put the old ones back in. those are hideous looking.
Really, really gaudy and look to be a pain to get in and out to clean. Don't know why you would need two layers. That results in a total of three layers including the original carpet. I would not buy them at any cost.
These wouldnt last 1 winter in the northeast snow, salt and brine.
First
Nice to check floormats. I have found better TUXMAT than weathermats
I tried being a Tuxmat dealer. Not a good experience. Communication skills are near zero
@@chrissemsch8781 possibly they don't do that type of business 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏽♂️
I just ordered them.
Oh dear. So sad to watch.
$400-$600! Hard pass
F1 is a horrible company. Buy a different brand. F1 took my money and never sent me mats that fit. They kept sending mats that were the wrong size. The refuse to return my money. I have a stack of mats that don't fit my car. They do not dispute this. There are plenty of other reputable companies to get similar mats.
They look awful I’ll just stick with rubber mats
