i know we all have to grow up, we change, move on and become different people. i miss these days. back in eighth grade listening to their homecoming album. nights filled with studying and not worrying about bills. falling asleep to boys like girls or we the kings. when fallout boy ruled the day. when the problems i came up against were softened by the sounds of bands like hey monday, all time low, or the all american rejects. nostalgia.

In my opinion, Hey Monday is a very underrated band. They had quite a few awesome hits and yet nobody knows they are anymore. They only know who Cassadee Pope is as a Voice winner and Country music artist. People need to know that this band was not just one of those blink-and-you-miss Pop Punk bands. That being said, if Cassadee were to ever bring one of her old songs in her new Country music career, this song would be perfect. I also didn't know this was on Glee.

This is nostalgic. I still listen to this song whenever I reminisce about my teenage years. Cassadee Pope's voice is unique and powerful. To be honest, compared with majority of singers of today, she still holds the crown and deserves recognition. Even though she transitioned from pop punk to country, that didn't matter. Her voice is still unique ang powerful.

This song is like a transition for Cassadee the beginning sounds like what she does now.
It is pretty old, this video was made a little later but there are clips of them performing it way back
Plus, this version is a lot softer and ligther than the original (2008 album) version.
The 2008 one is a bit heavier, more emo-ish. But this one is more like Michelle Branch's stuffs.

Because unhappy people like to pick on good-looking, insanely talented people - and Cassadee is a prime example. I was glad she won the voice, I loved Hey Monday and always will, but I'm glad she is achieving personal success coz she's got one of the best voices I've ever heard. Hope she does well from it.

I guess the best thing about Glee is that I know they just make covers for songs like this, but that's it. I wouldn't've even known about this song if I didn't hear it from that show first. They make us curious about the original versions and then eventually appreciate beautiful songs like this.

Cassadee Pope is solo now as im sure everyone knows she won the TV show The Voice. So no need to miss her. She has new music. Her album Frame by frame came out at the end of 2013 and its REALLY GOOD!.

I think this video is their expression of how Cass left the band to go solo. You can see at most of the scene that only Cass is fading out.

This is one of my top favorite videos by Hey Monday. I love the candles being shown and I love how there is some kind of story behind this song. I definitely get a religion twist vibe with this pop rock emo vibe. Overall love this
