Had a good time working on this cool bus from the early 2000's. These things remind me of an ol' Art Deco slot machine or something from the 40's or 50's. I think it turned out pretty nice after adding some candy spectra-flame to it. See for yourself!

Waking up to a diecast resurrection CZcams notification is the best start to my day. Lovely piece. It's like your very own tour bus. 😉.
Nice work. Great bus. You give great advice "Keep your tail up, and stick on the ice"..."Reem your hole". Not sure how Canadian the last one is, but they are words to live by.
Looks great! The red and chrome are amazing!
The only thing I would've done different is polish up the "windows" with the buffing wheel to make it look like shiny glass.
This is a great Vlog thanks - just giving you the heads up on those wire cleaning wheels. If you put super glue around the inner rim both sides before using they last longer. 👍
That style is called "Art Deco". That is a beautiful model and a beautiful restoration. Love it!!
Love the body style on this one. Red and chrome was a good choice. Nice one.
That interior is like a blank slate...you could do *anything* with it :)
To bad you cant see past that solid glass :(
You always pick interesting projects and your work is top notch, it is why you are my #1 channel for diecast customs. This bus was cool, like the red and chrome.
Candy red with the grill pearl white would have looked awesome. Love your videos ..looking forward to seeing the next project..
This is BY FAR my favorite you’ve done! Such a beauty!
I like that last little red green reference 😂👍
Great job love the final look. I like to see some one do a candy paint job on a semi yruck
Jimmy can do bus tours now... He'll be *BLUBBING INTO THE NEXT DECADE!!!!*
The chrome and red look great! Less is more in this case I think!
Very nice job!!! It sorta reminds me of a Scout Scarab from the ‘30’s!
Summer Fun Bus!...woooo all aboard!! Looking Great my Man, the straight chrome makes a good contrast for that Cherry Red she be rockin! keepem Comin!
Buck Rogers would love this ride. He’d take his relatives out for a spin during their family reunion in this Art Deco baby.
This is one of your best! Bring back these retro cars. You have come a long long way since this piece of art.
Silver is often used in the car industry to show off a concept vehicles lines. It was absolutely the right call to leave some bare metal on this beautiful model. It also evokes the Airstream trailers of the era as well, which I think is a pretty cool touch.
I don't see how anyone could not like this. Great work. Inspired.
This bus looks like it could lay down some serious rubber! Paint is perfect 👌
You are like the Frankestein monster: Half a kid and half a genius in car restoration. I love this artdeco style bus. Well done and stay the same without complex
Hello from PARIS-FRANCE :)
Cool casting! You chose the perfect color for it! The thing reminds me of vehicles like the GMC Futurliner
Omg I LOVE this!!!! Incredible man just incredible. Way to freaking go!!! Wow!
I have to recommend the dremel branded wire wheels and brushes. They last a lot longer and they wear from the edge vs loosing material. I like not having tiny bit of metal out of my face and eyeballs.
As someone watching on my phone, the close up rotisserie is greatly appreciated
How was the the sound level? I watched it on my phone earlier and had to have it maxed out to listen comfortably. Is it just my phone?
Diecast Resurrection I have my iPhone sound EQ set to Late Night, I think it makes the phone a little louder than normal, but it was perfectly fine for me
Turned out Awesome. Keep your stick on the ice, you score goals that way! Yes I am a proud Canadian.
Nobody commented on the budweiser on the desk yet.. you guys are slacking!
Great outcome and one of my favourite videos so far... humour and more😁🏒
cool trick with notching the axle tube for gluing. been doing that for years.
Very cool! Nice choice on paint👍
You should definitely restore more antique appliances! That toaster looks amazing! All joking aside, it's one of my favorite large castings, and you did an amazing job! 👍😁
3:30 Interior and glass put on top of each other look like another new vehicle
Great looking colors.
I like how you painted the fenders, Sunset Pink.
Another great job. Love that body shape! 1950’s toaster oven made me laugh out loud and I was in the lunch room at work! Ha!!!
a rolling art déco museum. :) like out of a 30's or 40's sci-fi illustration!
looking great like this. :) I wonder how it would look with parts of it being kept in a "brushed" look rather than polished. like the butterfly wings on the front... plenty of room for experiments. :)
Looks like the Blastolene Decoliner. Cool trick with the urethane clear.
I love the work you do ; I love this bus you painted ! I would love to see this same bus in actual greyhound buslines livery ; I realize that this model is a fictional vehicle; but the art deco styling would fit perfectly with the look of an old 1940s greyhound coach.
OUTSTANDING!!!!! I love it. Another great job. Thank you!!
That bus is out of this world!!!!!!!!!
Again , Great Color Choice . Smokin' Ride.......
Nice job mate, kept simple but nice. Looking forward to my t-shirt, promoting the channel here in the UK :)
Wear it proudly my friend!!!
That's some art deco goodness right there!
Nice one. A little shot of Red Green. Funny.
Just starting to watch the vide, but I REALLY hope he left it all shiny-silvery, it'd look great with the art-nouveau aesthetic!
Tamiya actually makes a thin, flexible tape too! Great casting and even better custom! I might have to be a Johnny Come Lately and do one to in the near future..... Also loved the sound effect for the rubber sanding tip.... LOL...
It'd be interesting to see what you'd do with it. It could be the "Vegas Casino-on-Wheels"!!
@@PhantomDragonEternal That model sure does get your imagination flowing!
Nice build👌 super clean paint.
Hell, maan, I like your "blop-blop-blop" and "wroom - wroom" so much
Double plus super sweet looking ride.
Looks great!👍🏻👍🏻
I like to see you try different things and experiment. Great video!
Run some super glue close to shaft well help keep wire from coming out. Love you're work !!!
We have just watched the birth of Jimmy's Future liner .... it's like the General Motors Future liner only with better cocktails ! 🍻
it looks good. looks like something Gru would drive to church
Would fit in at the campground with some of the old Airstream trailers. Great job.
The sarcasm is amazing
Fantastic Restorations
Flash Gordon retro yo! Love these kind of builds. Awesome.
If you spray the liquid chrome with Allclad Klear Kote it will pretty much last forever. I run it on my RC bumpers that I drive through the woods. Looks as good as the day I sprayed them.
Blinding in the summer sunlight!😎👍🏻👍🏻 Those thin brass wheels will shed like CRAZY over the work space. They may be cheap but don't last long. I stick to Dremel brand!
I like it, I love the Art Deco era
My experience with the Molotow chrome is that it doesn’t hold up to handling. It loses its luster pretty quick, probably due to our oils breaking down the finish. It’s great for purely display items, though. If you’re strictly a collector, they’re great for customizations and restorations. You can clear coat Molotow, as well, if you dip it. Pledge Future finish or whatever it’s called works pretty well. Just place it in a disposable container, and dip the item you Molotowed. It will dull the finish, but not a lot, and is the best way to protect it, imho. Any sprayed clear coat will destroy the finish, leaving you with a dull silver, instead.
Love it! Great colour choice.
I'm so glad to find this channel.
Love your style, I do a lot of the same things and builds.
Diecast lover since 68
I LOVE HOW YOU'RE DEAD SILENT LIKE YOU'RE WALKING ON THE MOON PIN STRIPING..
I would have liked to have seen the details in the front done in the red as well. Love the design of the vehicle.
How cool is that bus ? Never seen anything like that (before or after ) great colour combo and another fun project ! Thanks for posting !
Looking good as always! Nice!
Nice build and paint job 👌
The only thing I'd change is the fin. I wish you would have gone red with the silver stripes. But I'm loving that art deco style. Jimmy's gonna get all the honeys at the pier with this...
I love that car, thank you. Regards from Mexico
That is Wicked!! I definitely need to find one
Awesome Job!!
Awsome restoration, a 40s style bus is a cool airodynamic ride. I would. Enjoy finding one of those models myself
That's one funky looking bus my man 😎 got that swag blast from the past and future 🤳🎖🏆🏅
I dont have time to watch right now but I'll stop and leave a like🍻
Love the paint scheme! Unfortunately I can only give it one thumbs up. Here is another Canadian quote for you: "Quondo omni flunkus moritati"
That is one sweet ride! Jimmy gonna go surfing now! Awesome colour - minimalist, as in less is more. I wish we had life size vehicles like this in UK. Ps I liked that gluing trick on the axles too. Learn something new every day.
Awesome stuff...when will you show us all of the ones you have done in a single shot...will be real awesome too see!!
mentioned it before, but, you can coat Molotow chrome with Future - it will reduce the chrome effect slightly but protect it from everything negative that can happen to it when handled.
Cool look. Art Deco is a great style.
Hey man that is awesomely cool work! General Motors made a similar looking vehicle... That is so BOSS bub!
I love 30's artdeco! Your paint job is very period correct. I was a bit worried when you started but ended up pleasantly surprised.
Awesome job buddy looks great thanks for sharing buddy 👍👍
Awesome job!
You ever thought about just making a video of up close shots of paint stripper crinkling up paint? One.of those satisfying things to watch, at least for me
Wow that looks like a beauty mate!
This is awesome and interesting. I like the "gluh gluh gluh" sounds you make...lol...
Just remember with those cheap wire wheels you have to keep your Dremel on setting number one it's the high speed that makes him fly apart real fast
You're the only diecast channel I watch at regular speed.
Magnifique restauration !
You brought it back to life, nice wheels 🤟rock on wild man
That's a nice bus you got there friend.
You took it from Ugly and Boring. To cool and nice. Well done 👍
Please... blue sprecto flame with the silver body...
((waits to see what he does))
Darn it! Even though I love red, I think blue would have really been cool with the silver body. Can't go wrong with sort of an Art Nouveau/Deco look.
Real cool nice paint job
An amazing job....👍👍👍👍
you should do give aways!!!! I would love to wake up to seeing a custom from diecast!!!!
Had no idea you released this yesterday. Juanita is gonna enjoy watching this one, she is a Diecast Bus Collector
Really cool thumbs up
