Were you able to use the factory fuel regulator in the rails with the stage 2 cam? The regulator is vacuum controlled, and I know that aggressive cams affect vacuum

Man, that sounds good. I'm about to put that cam and lifter kit in my 2011 Tahoe next week...to help with towing. Couple questions: Did it seem to pick up more torque on the bottom or more mid-range? Also builder says it will run without a tune? Any advice you can provide is appreciated.
A little on the bottom, but a ton in the mid-range. I definitely wouldn’t recommend running it without a tune. It might run, but it will not be efficient at all.

2 questions. are you running on a rebuilt motor and trans? and also, what type of fuel you put in it? i have an 03 burban i want to cam
No, this is the original motor and trans to the Tahoe. I run High Test in it most of the time, but it seems to do ok with Mid Grade also.

Nope, just a stock converter, no issues.

I live about 15 minutes from Moonlight. Did you do a street tune or Dyno? Trying to figure out if a dyno is really worth it. I have a BTR Stage 2 in a 01 Suburban 5.3
Mine was a street tune. The dyno hadn’t came in yet when they did mine. Any tune is worth it though.

How much was the cam
Hey man, how’s it drive on the stock torque converter? I’m torn between a stage 2 BTR or the truck norris. A lot of people say the truck norris is fine with the stock converter, but then again there’s a lot of conflicting information. Thanks.
This cam does completely fine with the stock converter. However, next time I think I would like to try the Truck Norris cam also.
@@HiRevzMedia I ended up calling BTR and they told me the truck norris would work just aswell as the stage 2 with the stock converter and make more power. So that's what I went with. Thanks for the reply!
Did you install any supporting mods like valve springs or TC
Everything is in the description. Stock TC works fine with this cam.

For this cam you dont, I have it in my 2004 gmc yukon but I just put a 2800 stall converter in it and it woke it up even more so no you dont have to but I do recomend it

In all, with the cam, tune, CAI, and headers, it should be about 100hp over stock.
COMPLETELY ok if it’s a question you don’t wanna get into; but in the off-chance… how much $ in total for parts and labor?
It really all depends on who does the work. I got a excellent deal on mine, so that’s a little different story. I would expect to pay anywhere from $1300 - $2000, depending on who does the work.
