Question for Coach Canova- In most of your training programs, there is a blend of variable stimuli throughout a periodized season tailored to the athlete. When working with someone who has hit a performance plateau, do you ever try to isolate a particular stress for a few weeks to help them achieve faster times? More generally, how do you help runners overcome particularly stubborn plateaus from the 5K-Marathon? Thank you!
