- Hey Guys, Mahabaleshwar is one of the most beautiful hill station in Maharashtra which is 5 hours away from Mumbai and 3 hours away from Pune. So we decided to spend 3 days here.
Here is what we did in these 3 days.
Day 1:
We started with 4000 year old temples, Shiv Temple known as Mahabaleshwar Temple, Panchganga Temple which is dedictaed for the confluence of 5 rivers Krishna, Koyna, Venna, Savitri and Gayatri and the thirs one is Krishna Bai Mandir. Mahabaleshwar is settled on the banks of Krishna river and it is said that this temple is the place from where she origins. All temple are very very beautiful. A must visit.
Time: 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM
No Entry Fees
From there we went to a very famous restaurant in Mahabaleshwar known for its Corn Pattice and Strawberry Cream - Bagicha CornerTime: 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM
Venna Lake is just nearby the Bagicha corner, so went for boating. It’s a very toruristy place but we had great time here. There is 2 type of boating paddle boating and rowing boat, we preferred rowing boat with driver. And we paid INR 600. During heavy rains boating is usually closed there. But you can just go for the view and enjoy some snacks like maggi, bhutta.
Time: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
We ended our day in Cafe Peter which is famous for their Korean Menu and coffees. We had some hot Ramen, fries and coffee. Ambience is quite good and it is right in the market area.
Time: 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM

Day 2:
We started our day with visiting the one of the most important fort of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj - Pratapgarh fort. Where battle of Pratapgarh happened. It is 1 hour away from main Mahabaleshwar but would highly recommend to visit.
Time: 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
No Entry Fees
Guide: INR 600 | Contact Details: 8275503818 (Dhananjay Jangam)
Just nearby the fort there is an open air musuem which depicts the Shivakalin village lifestyle, name of the musuem is Shivkalin Khede Gao.
Time: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Entry Fees: INR 100
Nearby the musuem there is a restaurant which serves authentic Maharashtrain food, so we had some Puranpoli and Milk, Baingan Bharta, Bhakri and Shev Bhaji.
From there we went to Mapro for some fresh Strawberry Cream. Mapro is very famous for their syrups, jams, chocolates and strawberry cream. Without visitng Mapro, your trip to Mahabaleshwar is incomplete.
Time: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
And we ended this day with the one of a kind village in entire India, Village of the Books - Pustakanche Gaav. 35 homes from this village are convereted into library, each home divided as per the Genre. You can come and read books here for free. Isn’t that great way to promote great literature of our country and encourage reading?
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Day 3:
You must be wondering why we haven’t yet visited any view points yet because Mahabaleshwar is a hill station so there must be few good view points, right? So we saved this for the last day and we started our day with one of our favourite view point which is Needle Hole View Point from here you can see the Elephant Head Rock Formation, it’s near Kate’s point.
There are more than 12 view points in Mahabaleshwar but from here the view is just breathetaking.
No Entry Fees
Time: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Mahabaleshwar has been giving tough competition lately to Mawsynram which is known as wettest place on earth, so it is obvious that this place has some beautiful waterfalls but amongst all the most famous one is Lingmala Waterfall. It’s a 3 step waterfall which cascades down to the valley from the height of 600ft.
Time: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Entry Fees: INR 25
From there we straight for lunch at Hotel Rajesh, it’s more than 50 years old and famously known for its Gujarati Thali.
Lastly, we ended our trip with some shopping, there are lot of workshop from where you can shop Mud Vessels and Ceramic Vessels. We bought mitti ki kadai, ceramic plates and stone morter and pestle

We were there on Weekdays, so we didn't face any traffic issues except at Venna lake. Rest of the places did not have any problem. No idea about weekends.

I found cockroach in kanda bhaji in bagicha restaurant. Pls don’t visit it
Vo cockroach bhaji order keya hoga apne
Please stop promoting this Bagiccha hotel its a average quality hotel average food quality i have been here after seeing one of youtubers video, there are best hotels around likes Hirkani i dont know what makes all youtubers stop here , this is my genuine opinion
You should watch video before commenting. We have clearly mentioned that they need to improve hygiene and it was our first time we just wanted to try as many non youtuber friends suggested this place to us.
Bevkuf khana kidhar achcha milta hai aapko dikhne mein koi interest nahin hai hamen Mahabaleshwar dikhao aapko mat dikhao
Lol we sat at literally the same table at cafe peter. I feel Mahabaleshwar needs better restaurants and coffee places. The people in the town can't seem to think beyond strawberry shakes and dosa idli. One needs better higher quality restaurants, there is enough rich public from Mumbai and Pune that come there regularly to afford all this. heck even a Starbucks would be nice.
Yes a Starbucks would be nice with old world charm of Mahabaleshwar
Bagicha is not good...there was insect in their food and its not hygenic at all. I won't recommend people to go to this restaurant and get sick coming back home
ohh god. That's really bad.
Watching your vlog after so long as usual cinematography and presentation at its best you both really look cute together ❤
