I agree with you on that. While watching that clip, I kept thinking, Dude, thank your guardian angels for putting in overtime on that one. We don’t play around in our hurricanes and get out and drive around. I couldn’t tell which one that was, but that’s really irrelevant. He’s SO SO lucky to have made it out of that mess.
That was very foolish. And he was in a sedan at that.

First: No driving in this weather - park somewhere, turn the engine off and get some sleep! Second: Driving in this weather should be no more than 15mp/h otherwise you're asking for trouble! Third: If you hit something - you stop immediately and wait for help or for the weather to get better so you could assess the damage!

I don't pretend to be a traffic expert. I'm just some random dipshit who possesses no special expertise beyond what probably everyone else here possesses.
However, there appears to be two lanes going in that direction. If you look at the one minute twenty second mark I think I see a painted line on the road signifying two lanes. That would make it legal to pass the car.
But either way - your scenario or mine being correct, neither changes the fact that the woman in the opposing wrong lane is still a 24 carat dumbass.

I used to drive passive-aggressive and block people trying to squeeze in etc. Id see people doing something like an asshole, and know what they were gonna wanna do next, and make that as difficult as possible or flat out impossible for them. I have been driving for just over 35 years, NEVER had a ticket for anything and been in two minor accidents, both were not my fault in fact and according to the police reports. I literally pay less than $600 a year in truck insurance because of my driving record. Amazing right?
That said, i get infuriated almost daily with aggressive drivers and tailgaters. If someone tailgates me when I am going 5 miles over the speed limit I will immediately take my foot off the gas. I don't brake check, but I will slow down until the tailgater gets the message. I refuse to back down on this. When you tailgate you endanger my life! You obviously don't care about yours, but I do care about mine.
I always have a very simple rule when it comes to people getting out and approaching me. I don't know what you're doing and I don't know what you're carrying and you're coming to me in a threatening manner, so don't be shocked if I defend myself with the two tons of car I'm currently in by hitting the gas and going right through you.
so you just assume somebody walking up to you is threatening, how about find out wtf they want first before you go all banshee on them

My dad told me a long time ago that if I ever want to get a feel of how truly entitled and self-centered people are--just go drive around for 30 minutes. That was nearly 25 years ago when I first started driving and he still isn't wrong. Except--I think people are actually worse now than then.
It's way worse with that brake checking thing. I never heard of that before. I moved to the mountains (secluded area) from Philadelphia. I know bad driving as we go back all the time. I'll be aware of brake checking in the future I'm just shocked I haven't witnessed it with all the time we spend going back.

5:25. I've seen this clip a few times now. Has anyone figured out who this clown is? His veiled threats and "poorly attempted" impersonation of law enforcement tells me he has tried this before.
0:28, the lady was in the left turn lane and then switched lanes to get back into the regular lane, without using her signal and then stopped her car to start a road rage again! That lane is for a left turning lane only, if you mess up with the left turning lane, you have to turn left once you’re in that lane, you can’t get back to the other lane at all! And, if you started a road rage with the driver who didn’t let you in the first place, then that’s your own fault for not being in the lane you need in the first place!
I lived in Nashville for a year. It was one of the worst experiences ever. And the drivers are some of the worst I've ever encountered.

20:02 Watched a couple times, concluded that the car in front of cammer really was getting brakechecked themselves. At start of clip, there's a truck in right lane with no car behind it. At end of clip, there's a car behind the truck, now. And if you watch closely through the windshield of the car in front of cammer, you'll spot the brake lights a few times. But... here's the kicker. It appears to be in response to the cammer flashing high beams ...in response to the no-signal lane change by the middle car. Hooray, everyone's a jerk.

Yeah, clearly the cammer and the Jeep were in the wrong. The jeep ran the stop sign, the cammer tried to run the stop sign, but "had to brake hard" to stop for the Subaru, even though the Subaru had the right of way. If you actually follow the link in the description, the guy who uploaded the video (the cammer himself), actually turned off comments. Definitely a total Karen.

Its amazing to me how angry people get when someone else makes a mistake. We have probably all accidentally cut someone off, found ourselves in the wrong lane, forgot to use our blinker etc... Sure, some of these guys are real jerks, but in some cases mistakes happen (like the guy in the box truck). Instead of going nuclear and acting like that person is satan himself who is doing this on purpose, try giving them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was an honest mistake. That change in attitude will do wonders for your blood pressure.
Thank you, I for sure do dumb shit on occasion when I’m driving, and no, I don’t road rage on other people who make mistakes. What annoyed me was the guy with 3 lanes and goes out of his way to point out the traffic that will be trying to merge into those lanes. He sees they will need to merge in, but rather than move over a lane to make room for them to merge he stays put making sure he in their way making it difficult for them to merge. Then has a hissy fit over the shit storm he created…. I mean really? Just move over!
1000% this! I used to get all worked up, but still at most only to 25% of the level as people on these clips.
It wasn't until I started driving as you describe that I realized how much I was letting petty things during my commute effect my life. Not only would I be in a bad mood the rest of my commute, but it would also spill over into my mood at the destination. And it escalates exponentially. You get angry about one thing, then some non-issue is reason enough to get angry over.
All over what? Some stranger who probably didn't notice you did something they probably didn't realize they were doing? They'rr letting a mistake or rude behavior, that would have effected 5 seconds of their life, ruin their day and possibly even be charged with a crime, wreck your car, get injured/killed or, injure/kill them or some innocent bystander.
I wonder... What will happen if one of those ragers stumble upon someone REALLY not in the mood for that shit.
