PSA: Do NOT work through pain. That’s your body letting you know you already messed up previously and to stop. You want to still exercise to get blood flowing in the affected area (helps recovery), but not too crazy. I had a slight injury that affected my performance, but you’ll see in the next videos it didn’t stop me from having some fun :)
So true! I'm 58 and hit the weights all the time. 10 day's ago I was doing a calf workout on the leg press and felt something in my foot. I stopped and waited for the wife to finish her yoga class. In those 20 minutes things changed fast, I could hardly walk when she showed up. Turned out to be plantar fasciitis. Better now but not completely healed
Wow you really need that attention.
Hey bro, can you do a video on what warm up exercises and stretches you do before/after benching? Thanks.
Imagine risking serious injury just so a few people at your gym notice you
Yikes
what child hood trauma do you have?
You went to the Olympia? 👀
Can we just appreciate the guy who has to bench 135 right next to him
Love this comment

@@The_MEMEphis Legit that’s their way of coping with their incompetence

No shame and no need to compare. Not everyone is built the same genetically, not everyone has the same goals, and not everyone is as driven. As long as they're putting in the time and effort, they deserve respect
Injured or not, this is still an insane lift 🔥
I wondered where've you been. Sad to hear that your injured, happy it's not too bad so you're still able to lift. I sometimes watch your videos to hype myself up for a lift so thank you for making these videos!
You are a monster- keep pushing it!! Huge respect & inspiration!!
your videos r too good to be waited please upload more regularly
Beast mode I just got 9 reps in 225 this is MAJOR while feeling “unsure” beast

Got to film the insta live for this. Amazing dudes, strong as heck!!!
bro, make more videos, it's really fun to watch.Cheers and grow big ^^
Man I just found your channel and I just subbed I’m enjoying the content … no stupid intros straight to the lifting
Only people who lift can appreciate how fucking strong you are.
I've been lifting a couple of years now and I've really started to plateau. Seeing your lifts and how you get after it has been inspiring me to keep grinding
gotta change something up
time to hop on gear

Shout out to the guy benching 135 right next to him as his spotter is too busy recording 😂
these vids are amazing, you have really inspired me to workout hard
bro is a real life Saiyan..
Yesterday I felt my left lat hurt after a squat, so I stopped.
its very difficult but when on gear sometimes you gotta take it slower on the weight increases as your joints dont grow as fast as your muscles. it may "feel" light but sometimes its better to progress slower than you "feel" and thats why a lot of guys on gear still progress slower than they are able to and dont push it until theyve been moving up for awhile to prevent injury
The spotter of the 135lbs bench dude left him by himself 🤣🤣🤣
0:23 Even the dog mirin you.😂😂😂
bros warmup in kg is my pr in lbs
total chad move
Bro legit benched my squat 😂😂😂
You’re insane my friend… holy
What accessory work you do for chest? Gotta do the boring high rep chest machine work to directly build up tendons and connective tissue. End every workout with at least 1 set of nonstop 25-30 reps. It's the best insurance against injuries.
Colin: I am injured!
Also Colin: I AM GOING TO TRAVEL TO LAS VEGAS FOR OVER 24 HOURS WITHOUT ANY SLEEP

incredible
0:35 hahaha
"why yes, I can bench 225"
No excuses? I have an excuse... the weight is too damn heavy!! 😀. I hope you make a full and complete recovery. 👍
hey just curious about something as someone who lifts and is trying to get to 300 (i was so close but, got sick and dropped to around 220#) Do you actually let all the weight on your ribs when you go down or just more of a touch and go type thing? Thanks for your time God bless and do all things for the glory of God!
That’s a spirit if you can push through whilst in pain you can do anything yes be cautious and know when to stop 🛑 but this guy whenever I see him I ask myself how is this possible 🤔 lifting insane amount of weight without any wraps and sling
I can't even deadlift that
Moarrr . Faster uploads
should do a video where you rep 405 for like 20 reps in the gym lol
Colin still goes to the gym - even when injured. Truly sigma male.

0:35 is that miranda cohen?? 😍
Certified Chad
I wonder if BOLO YEUNG was this strong?
Lol I got roasted on a comment I made about some dude benching 300kg with a torn tricep, I simply said it's too risky.
I had a torn tricept last year and there were only a handful of exercises I could do but more importantly I could only lift light, so your right as I have fully recovered
@@georgesullivan4473 Awesome, where it boils down to is: How well your mind-muscle connection is, if you learn to listen to your body, it's very easy to figure out where adjustments, improvements, or information gathering needs to be performed in order to correct an issue. You listened to your body and it responded, you healed, and your back training already.
It generally seems a lot of people state they *have* an issue, when they actually have already recovered a significant amount.
elite lifter shows off to green 15 years olds.. real pro
You should make a diet video, im so curious to see what it takes for this
physique
Eating healthy probably around 70-100$ a day if you prep everything. Unhealthy macros 30-50$ = protein shakes-canned tuna, some cheap carbs (instant ramen etc) It's not cheap to sustain anything above 220+ lbs
Realistically test at least. Even with insane strength genetics, not being super lean, and without perfect powerlifting form, this still seems incredibly unlikely for a natural lifter. You could go on several 500mg test cycles and still not be close tbh
You must be pretty good at powerlifting or something...
How is pushing from hip a proper lift??? Just asking!!!

Somebody has to do a natty or not on this guy.
What’s the song at 0:25?
6Six6 Def Lev
Just think that Julius Maddox lifts an additional 100kg/220 lbs above this. It is insane 🤯
It’s like someone benching 315 and someone 95. That’s the difference between Julius and Colin. When you look at it this way it becomes even more absurd that someone lifting 550 which is something few men can do in America is a weakling compared to Julius in same lift. Iv had 550-600 in my hands on bench and the pressure on hands and wrist alone is tremendous let alone then having to bench it. So Julius having 200 more then that in hands really is in my opinion the most impressive raw lift ever done
lol julius maddox weighs almost twice as much as Colin though
@@hyojoong so whats ur point? He weighs about 450 and Colin 230.
@@PoweredbyJESUS7 its all about the power to weight ratio
@@PoweredbyJESUS7 in my opinion, it can be more impressive for someone weighing like 160 to bench 3x bodyweight than a 400+ lbs person not even benching 2x bodyweight
What song is this?
6Six6 Def Lev
Add concentric phasis to do a correct bench, here bar fall down on your chest which make your bench invalid. But still amazing even like this
I don't get bothered by people benching 440. I would never want to be that big. It looks ridiculous being that big. I'd rather look shredded.
Its not for the looks, its for the strength.
Is Colin definitely natural? Some weight he’s throwing around
bro runs gyms out of 45`s, put the song name btw bro :c
this might seem like a stupid question but even with your bodyweight and strength, are you natty?
No

@@desk1185 Definitely not natty
Colin is a powerlifter. I lift for over 20 years. Id prefer to stay fit and ripped. Much respect to you, but lifting heavy weights bring no values to yourself except high risks of injuries. Gym maturity is when you don't care about lifting heavy. It only impresses the newbies. Not hating. But much respect to you bro!
I know you didn't because of your other videos but someone just watching this might think you faked it because you cut away every rep.
cool
Why are all the videos about people at the gym watching person lift? Look at me and look at people watching me, I am best.
kitten i
I wish he collab with Larry. Two of the strongest youtuber lifters of all time.
Amazing athlete but you may want to improve your form. You could drop the weight on the exercise by 200 lbs and still be stronger than most people in the gym and get better form to avoid injury.
@ٴ Good question. Progressive overload relies mainly on consistent form and freedom from injury. If he maintains this form there is a good chance he may get injured. Technique depends on the lifter so the form may be ok for him but it is just a suggestion since he had mentioned an oblique injury.
bro wtf are you actually on about improving form, he is benching 250kg, not 100kg. Johnnie Harris one of the strongest benchers in the world benches with the same style as Collin (bringing the weight down fast and exploding up by fully utilising leg drive). That style helps him be super explosive, which is essential in getting that amount of weight up.
@@sirRustyiron Hey I am not saying he is not stronger than anyone, I am just saying I think his form can be improved to avoid serious injury.
Do we really need that loud music
Lkk
It looks like you suffer a lot of injuries. Rarely do I see you lift correctly. I would step back from the heavy and work on your form. Slow it down, feel the muscles work. Sure you are strong, most likely because of aas.
First
WOW, it´s very impressive an oriental GUY doing these amazing benchpress movement with more than 200 KGS. There are many bodybuilders who can´t do these powerful lifting. Congratulations !!! Only RONNIE COLEMAN could make it without suffering.
@Merdian Gold Not naturally like COLIN WENG.
Are you slow? Power lifter train specifically for strenght and power so yes power lifter are stronger in general.
