love you dears. - Věda a technologie
thank you for watching
sir i used 4 bars 16mm 4 bars 12mm for the column of my 3 storey house from foundation ground floor to 1st floor, is it safe? the size of my house is 20ft by 24ft with 9 columns,
Very informative videos, theres info in every step
this really helped me for my upcoming exams thank you
Appreciates sir,all details is helpful in further study, thanks
your videos are easy to understand and very much professional design.
Thanks
Wow you are great Brother! Very good explanation. Thanks you so much!!!!!!
thank you dear,,, most welcome here
very ell done ,really thanks so much for your great effort .
Inas salah
thank you dear. most welcome to SLK's tuts
Great sir, but it's also a request to clear a concept about load distribution on one way and two way slab, or otherwise
nice and helpful, could you make a video explain the overlap position in structural elements, thankx
thank you
thank you sir, very helpful video.
Abdulhamid Orafa
most welcome to SLK's tuts.
Nice video. Can you do a video of Construction Engineering and Structural Engineering.
congrats from philippines
❤️
very nice lecture
Thanks for liking
Thanks Mr Right :)
Welcome infinite dear 🤣😂
Thanks sir, it helped me so much. Hopefully you can make another design tutorial for pile cap.
I will try soon
nice lecture and very understandable
Thank you for visiting
Iam also doing civil related....
Good job, just to notice, at 12:12 you should have taken the diameter of the longitudinal bar to be the minimum tie spacing because #9 is greater than 1in (in minimum tie spacing we pick the largest between 1in or the diameter of the longitudinal bar)
Best
exactly that is what i was wondering
thank you sir
most welcome. enjoy
thank u sir
welcome dear.... enjoy my channel
Please make a video.. mentione the clause number ACI Code Requirement of column, beam, slab & foundation short discuss the important point...
I will try
Thank you for this video. Can you do a video of Construction Engineering and Structural Engineering.
Welcome dear. Yes i will try soon
great sir . through which method are you designing.
Hahha so intertaining class
Can you explain in EC method?
If would be better to mention the clause number
Nice work ! 318 THANKS .
Thank you too
Sir have to know 9/9 " kalam 16mm 6 pis baar ok or not please ans me.
Hii ..Could you please upload a video about development length ??
hello///// yeah i can ... but this will take time
Thanks sir dera merabani
Most welcome dear
Hello, could you please do an example from the member design of column, beam and slab? i.e how to assign length and width of column and beam, and thickness of slab etc...that will be very useful
hello///// please check the channel in detail i have already uploaded all these videos
sir this column is already designed you only checked it whether its ok or not .How we can design colmn for our own building according to dead and live load.
dear watch part2 of this lecture...... this is part1
walaicum assalam
❤️❤️❤️
Sir how does these values come from phaye and teta
Hi I want to design base on eurocode. Is it same as what you have done?
Thank you
no codes are different however the procedure is the same
Do we include area of ties in area of steel? Or is it only the area of longitudinal bars.
No. its only area of longitudinal bars.
what would be maximum spacing of the bars in detailing according to ACI, can you calculate and write the answer in comment
Sir how did you get again the ast=8 in^2
i have a question what if logitudinal bar spacing is greater than 6" and no lateral tie was provided?
The column would be not designed in accordance with ACI. In other words, that design would not be acceptable.
Is it safe to use 6 pieces 12mm steel bars from ground floor to second columns for two story house?? The size of columns is 12×12"
we can not say that directly without any analysis, it depends upon the load acting on the columns, now i can not say what type of structure you talking about and how much load does it apply
your topic is design of square column but you discussed only ACI requirements for RCC column where is the design ?
dear this is part 1 of the video watch part 2 for detail design
Could you please let me know what are the areas for remaining numbers of bars i.e. no.10, no.8,no.11 and so on...
text me on whatsapp ...... i will send in form of picture....
my no +92 3438861906
Hey, can you tell me which software do you use for your presentation?
hello,,,, this is PowerPoint
ok. thnx man
Asalam Alaikum
Really, I appreciate your efforts ,Can you do lectures in columns design by Excel ?
Mohammed Alqadhi
walikumussalam. yes dear i will try after Eid...
SL Khan Thanks, really, you are great engineer.
Mohammed Alqadhi
most welcome. enjoy
What is .80 and .65 and .85 on your formula?and how did you derived it.thank you in advance
these are design capacity . just like constant values. these are given by ACI
What if I am using 1×1 ft^2 column, then how to place the longitudinal bar spacing according to ACI 318. Although I have to use 4 Longitudinal bars.?
watch part 2 of the video for your answer
You could increase the clear cover to 3” and put 1 bar in each corner inside of the stirrups.
Thank u sir
But what about the load
check part 2 of this lecture
How would you. Design rectangular column
video coming soon
Thank u sir
I need the reference for Rc on ACI please attached her..thank u very much
welcome dear.....
hello... my reference for you is to study "reinforced concrete design by "Nelson "
the video that i have uploaded is from that book.... i hope that will help
SL Khan Thank you so much
my question is about spacing of longitudinal bars. you have mentioned it should not exceed or be more than 6". BUT ACI code 318 clause 25.2.3 says that clear spacing between bars shall be at least the greatest of 1) 1.5 inch or 2) 1.5d. kindly respond me soon
Yes. Maximum limit is 6inches and minimum limit is greatest of 1.5inch or 1.5d. …
Can u plz tell me that the code book u r using of which country,Because i m from india ,so it will match na
Its ACI.
Good video, but can i ask you to use metric please.
hey... i will try to make in metric too.. thank you for joining us
Why for steel strength you didn't divide 1.15 safety factor?
The design is using ACi. 1.15 material factor is for Eurocode and British Standard.
Sorry bro but the oercentage of longitunal bar nor more than 8 and not less than 1 percent
sir, you told us to design square tied column, but how can we design rectangular one?
be in touch i will upload that soon
Plz upload a rectangular column design video and units in mm
solve and share some question.
i will try soon thanks
Sir the reduction factor you use 0.65 must be code 2010/2015 right?
it is ACI 318
Aahh okay sir thank you 😊
sir how to find dead load and live load for beam and column ...?
inshaa allah i will bring a video sooooon
Sir zma question da d che za kma video gorm design of column or beam what ever no hr teacher formula change use k v or pa pta na pohegm che km mostly use kege.... or as a student der zyat confused ym pa d designing processes k.... even kala soch kwm che pregdm bs.... sir lg ka d bh bari zma ta lg information or motivat ma kai no dera zyata manana bh v
dear..... da har molk khple khple codes we . laka india wala I.S codes amirica wala ACI codes etc.

SL Khan ok sir manana... sir u question da d che kla mng company k designing kwo by software sap or etabs no company tarf na mong ta drawing 2d and 3D or load such wind l and EQ da given v mong ta
kindly, tell how to calculate ast ? (as, ast = 8 in. sq)
Jamal Shaikh 1 #9 bar = 1in^2. Therefore, 8 #9 bars = 8in^2.
sir is design of 2 way slab available ??
Not yet
Is it british code?
Its ACI
If nomber of bar are not given then how we calculate it
Watch part 2 of this video
@@EngineerBoyOfficial plz send the link
Metric units?
sorry,
but i think units must not matter, you can use any system of units if you learn the method
Plz tell me neam of book
reinforced concrete design by nelson
This is column analysis, NOT design.
Hi dear.... friend this is part1 of the lecture, watch part2 to complete the lecture and design
Could you please provide me with ppt files?
Yes. But you will not understand that file because thats an animation. Leave your whatsapp
hello do you have gmail? check my channel description and contact me through gmail. i will send the file.

Hello can you help in a problem? Please its urgent
what is your problem ?
Engineer Boy where can contact you so can i send it to you? Messenger or what?
Check channel description for WhatsApp
Do not use 'right' at each turn of the sentence. It bothers.
Yes dear, i was a bad habit , i do not use this in recent videos
i think hindi language is much better for this video a lot of people esily understand . if you are uploaded in hindi .next time you have gain a lot of publicity .
sorry dear.. muji teek si hindi nahe aatee islye mai english mi upload krta hoo
Pl use Hindi languages
This is so stupid, you already have the dimensions for the column, what if i have to design one with no dimensions at all.
Dear watch part 2 of this video
