The film was compelling, mesmerizing and understated. You actually experience the full effect until some time after it ends where you are left wondering about the "after". Well done to all involved. It is a cinematic effort that shines a light on character, human emotions and traditional story telling.

I absolutely love this film and Tom Hardy’s performance in it! It is so hard to believe that Tom had to read the lines because the script had expanded so much just a few days before shooting. Tom’s performance was perfect, with just the right amount of emotion from a character who prides himself in staying in control. And Tom delivered that performance while sick with a head cold!!! This movie is a study of the impact of the sins of the father on the son and one way that the son can respond in an attempt to not repeat those sins. My heart broke for Ivan Locke, and I felt that his wife responded in a way that showed that she did not really understand or respect him for his fortitude in rising above the sins of the father. The one source of hope was Ivan’s love for, and relationship with, his sons, and his desire to also be there for his new baby.
i would feel the need to ask whats it like being the actor of this generation , and how hard is it being as sexy as you are , whats it like being perfect ?
