Being a former Hell in a Cell mod creator I hope you finish it.
I never got to finishing is it a mix of gameshark codes and texture mods ?
I was able to code it to be added to the menus too.

This is 100% ROM hacked. No GS codes, no texture mods. I've slowly learned how to edit each file type in the file table and learned MIPS Assembly coding, which is the language the N64 games are coded in. This is a mixture of new texture files, new poly files and a ton of new MIPS instructions. Files have been replaced and a new ROM is built using freem's unreleased VPW Studio.
After taking a close look at the file table in NM, there are roughly 800 unused files to import new content to.

So excited for this. We def need a lot of new animations to make this really feel fresh and new. The same way that wcw/nwo revenge did after the previous game World Tour. They added a lot of new move animations. Would love to see new seperate chokeslams for the major guys that did them and new powerbombs (especially the jackknife as no game has really nailed that finisher. Closest was revenge). Little details like that are important to make it feel new. Your work is incredible so far!

This looks amazing so far. Only a couple notes as an avid no mercy player: Cant no sell a fall from the cell, the sound on top of the cage for impact should be the cage noise and not the mat, and when you land maybe use the animation for when you get hit with a top rope move, so you kinda bounce and twitch when they make impact. I just feel like the landing needs to look more violent. All in all though, this is incredibly well done. maybe exit the cage though a side panel too.
The sound is mentioned at the end of the video. The fall is adapted from falling off the cage in a cage match, which is better than any top rope move. This is still a WIP. Cage exit will stay the same.

I had wet dreams about this!! Literally wet dreams in 2000!!!!! I remember seeing something about tables and about a third rope bulldog double team I’m like what the heck!!?? Also the backstage area was awesome but seemed to be missing something! The Raw arena seemed like it could have used a table below lol to dive off of

It’s a great motivator to work harder on it for sure. However I don’t intend to rush it out to meet any deadlines. That would likely result in mistakes and lower result quality.

@@PhillyCYOSports things like that can happen when it comes to freebie game mods. The Princess Crown English patch had been 'worked on' for over a decade. I doubt it'll ever come out at this point, unless if another modder attempts it.

Do you ever seeing it being possible to use this Hell in a Cell match to replace some of the cage matches in storymode? Two of the chapters in storymode are based off of Cactus vs Triple H's Hell in a Cell match from No Way Out 2000 (chapter 7 of the Triple H path [aka the defending champion path], and chapter 9 of the Foley path) I love the work you're doing with No Mercy Plus btw!

I like the HIAC idea but I won't be adding it to NM Plus anytime soon. Backlash will be the first to have it.

There is a hell in a cell gameshark code for No Mercy on N64. I have it. I remember it was a real long code. Real buggy too if you're running in wrong area.

I love the recent No Mercy Plus mod! Big request: Can you add theme music for Undertaker's Phenom era since you can still create his attires for the game? Also Raven's assets are in the CAW so his theme music would be much appreciated as well!

It’s probably a year or so from release. I still work on this almost daily. Still a ton to do. The last few months have been spent adding a 2nd announcer table and creating portable tables you can set up and use anywhere. Regular previews on my Patreon. I should have a video for the tables here on YT within a month or so.

No GS codes. This is ROM hacked. New poly files, textures and game instructions were added to create this. Not possible with GS codes.

Are you working on other match stipulations like Last Man Standing? Can you port all wrestlers from WCW/NWO Revenge, WrestleMania 2000, WCW vs. nWo: World Tour and Virtual Pro Wrestling 1 and 2? Can you increase CAWs slots from 18? Amazing work!
LMS is finished, yes. No I can’t import 200+ wrestlers, costumes, movesets. As of right now I cannot increase CAWs.
Are you able to add more than one tattoo for CAWs e.g. use three tattoo (Godfather and Saturn) for Rey Mysterio’s arms, front and back tattoo? Can you add the ability to give one glove/wristband/armband instead of two e.g. Roman Reigns with one glove and John Cena with one armband? Add colors for masks? Can you add the ability to change default wrestler’s moveset e.g. change from Undertaker’s last ride to tombstone?
@@wilsonkirk There will be more tattoo, glove, mask options but not as detailed as you’re asking. You cannot edit wrestler movesets. However movesets have been expanded so Undertaker has both the Last Ride and Tombstone as front grapple specials. These additional move selections are also available for CAW.
Can the movesets be expanded in other areas, not just front grapple specials, such as Kurt Angle with the Ankle Lock and Chris Jericho with the Boston Crab? Someone found a way to increase CAWs, search - use mempak caws directly
@@wilsonkirk Lots of things have been expanded. I’m aware of the mempak code. That’s not the same as saving to the flash mem.

Looks awesome, but does it still trigger the feared (U) 1.0 save glitch after editing too much attires?
No way to tell until it gets to that point. Not sure how difficult it would be to convert it all over the 1.1.
@@RetroRandyPrice I currently use 1.1 (only Richards to Big Show conversion and face texture codes work there) cause of that glitch, 1.0 wouldn't save attires or characters after 30 or more attire modifications... in this case the only way to know as you say would be testing
