I absolutely love that bulldozer. My stepdad runs heavy equipment, and specifically, he runs a Cat D8. I remember the day I got to drive it vividly. early frosty morning, we made it to the location. started up the D8, he gave me a quick rundown of it all, let it warm up for a while, and then let me drive it to the flatbed. I remember being able to feel the power it had in the joysticks. I had the shakes from the adrenaline. I got out and jumped on the flatbed to "guide" him on. He saw me slip a bit because the trailer had frost on it. He dropped rpm on the dozer, got out, and walked over to the trailer. felt it a bit and got a very concerned look on his face. He looked me straight in the face and said, Get off the trailer and away from the sides when I start loading the dozer.
I still get nervous and adrenaline-fueled when thinking about what happened in the next very few seconds of the loading of that dozer.
He raised the RPM a bit and started inching forward. He started up the ramp, all smooth going so far. It reached the point of tipping it onto the trailer, it fell down onto the platform and slid about foot to the right. He quickly corrected to the left while inching forward. The tail end of the dozer then started drifting down to the right. He corrected more to the left, throttled up, and moved forward faster. He got it straight on the bed dropped the blade and stopped. My heart was pounding, and I remember breathing really hard. He shut it down, got out, and down to the ground. To this day, I am telling you, I have never seen this man paler in the face. We both kind of laughed. He shook his arms down like he was shaking the adrenaline shakes out and said lets get it tied down.
You guys are the best. If you make it they will watch. Who wouldn’t love to play with RC machines and make money.. BEST WISHES
I find that the key to good heavy equipment is hours and hours of watching CZcams videos of other people doing it has been the biggest help for me. Thanks Aaron for having me back to work on the hunt for GOLD. And thank you to everyone for watching and commenting. Remember to have fun with the RC hobby whatever you controlling.

SO happy that you got the machines out and digging again, I fulfill my childhood sandbox addiction through these vids lol, and they inspire me to go out and RC more often, My truck sits way to much these days. Supposed to be a hobby not a decoration. Can't wait to see the scale hijinks which will ensue.
I was watching a whole series of scrapers take down a giant Sandy type mountain here in Mesquite Nevada and boy when they're on their way empty they go very fast it's quite neat watching them and I love watching your little ones .these are real kick ass toys.
By far my favorite thing on CZcams. Just a few friends, some land, and lots of fun. Couldn’t get much better

Hello, I lost touch with you a year or so ago. I'm glad I found you again. I've always liked your style. On the D-10 if you stand the top of your blade more upright the scraper will work better because when you push on the scraper you lift the rear tires off the ground. So you lose part of the traction from the scraper. I wish I was closer this is something that I've always found fascinating. While I could only afford one piece of equipment it sure would be fun to come play. You can truly tell the age of the boys by the value of the toys. It sure would have been fun to have had these When We Were Young. Best regards Bob from Virginia USA

Never thought we'd see another GOLD series. But here it is! It will be really fun to follow this one.
Just some thoughts as I was intently watching this new episode.
Props to Troy for driving that commute to the mine site. That’s commitment.
I like how you made up separagate.
That road you cut is looking still a little bumpy.
Troy’s skill with that loader was pretty superb. Troy also did an amazing job using the dozer to push that road cutter.
As an unofficial RC Sparks CZcams Safety Advisor tho, you should make all site employees have adequate training before operating heavy machinery.
Also I was hoping the first episode would be accident free so the non-existent “# of Episodes since last incident” sign would be able to have a 1 on it for next time, but with that aggregate separator mishap, the “# of Episodes since last incident” will unfortunately have to read “0”.
Don’t hate the unofficial safety advisor, it’s better to be safe than sorry is what I always say.
So other than a serious safety violation, I’d say this 1st episode has been a success.
So great to see Troy back!!! The smile is looking good sir! I finally took the steps to get my own smile back, had all the extractions done back on december 8th, (18 total, and on next thursday I go for the second gold crown on my two remaining lower teeth, and first fitting for my permanent plate and lower partial, You sir helped to give me the inspiration to do what I needed to be done!

Awesome video Medic! It's always great to see Troy make an appearance. He done a great job operating the machines. You just might find some gold there. There's a brook on my grandfather's property that has alot of twists and turns. And back in the fall my sister and her boyfriend walked the brook with a metal detector and ended up finding some small pieces of gold after they paned it out. Cheers

Glad to see it's back! I've been investigating how to run my rx equipment over the internet via FPV. Not an easy task seems a few other projects exist. I work in remote camps during the summer and have my rc's with me but no buds to run them with me.

Really excited about you starting up the Gold series again, been watching all of CZcams Gold back in the days, it was a great show. It could be awesome if you redirected the creek in a canal, and build a couple of cofferdams and dryed out the creek in the corner. It would be very easy to start processing all the paydirt then. Tip for scraper: gate open half way was great, use the pieces on either side of pan as your guide to cut, as long as you don’t bury it you should make it further.
Pretty cool though!
