Excellent!! 👏👏👏
THANK YOU
It's absolutely terrible what happened to the native Americans
Well it looks like they asked for it and they got it .
Got to feel sorry for the peaceful, non- violent , tree hugging, anti torture, loving “natives”.
@@elliottd296they asked for their land to be stolen? They asked for the government to constantly screw them over, regardless of the contracts that were signed? Yeah okay, whatever.
My grandmother was born in the old
Fort Ashby fort building which her family owned till the the government bought it from them in the 1930s
I remember she had some 1700s coins and arrow heads she found in their garden
She told me about her grandfather telling her about his grandfather telling him about the Indian attacks
Killing and kidnapping the whites
After the state bought it in the 1930’s the WPA restored it back to what it looked like originally … my grandmother always complained about how it didn’t even look like a house anymore !
Thank you for sharing this history. I am a Fort Edwards family descendant
I think I had kinfolk there, captain skidmore is who I’ve managed to find in my family history .. would love to hear and know more!
Killbuck was a Lenape/Delaware native american. He was allied with the Shawnee and fought and raided with the Shawnee.

I had 4 grandparents killed in Pennsylvania in 1757 must have been a wild year
Interesting. One of my ancestors, Johann Peter Hess, was killed in Pennsylvania in 1757.
The stress levels of settlers must have been massive, starvation, wild animals, harsh weather and Indian raiders all trying to kill you.
Not as bad as LA in rush hour I'm sure !
Yea!
Go Indians!!!
Actually, that area was Virginia...
Good video, but dang you butchered a Rivers name, Counties name and Cities name...Kanawha is pronounced kaa·nuh·waa
Als always just fine.
