"Gabriel Medina capitalised on Kelly slaters priority mistake to take the win"...? Yeah, right. A priority mistake within the very opening exchanges of a 35 minute heat plus the initial added time, does not even come close to dictating who wins this final. Did you not see the insane exchanges for the next 35 minutes. Very strange comment, Medinas surfing won him the final not a mistake from Kelly, and this is coming from a massive kelly fan. Medina was out of this world that entire comp, only falling once, and that was in final. Amazing that you would even try to minimise incredible front side surfing from a 20 year old rookie, at maxing chopes, when everyone doubted his big wave a ability, down to him winning the comp only because Kelly made a simple priority mistake? Kelly caught all the waves after Gabby's fall, ample opportunity to seal it if he could. Pull your head out of his backside and give credit where credit is due.

    Otto’s 10 at 3:10 was actually a 12 and Ace’s 9.97 at 0:25 was a 10 for the foam ball ride alone. I’m not even Australian

This video really highlights how much easier it is for John John to get a high 9 score compared to everyone else.
Don’t get me wrong, he does some freaky things and definitely earned some of the high scores in this vid.. But then you have him getting a wave where he barely gets any coverage and gets a 9.8, compared to someone like Ace who gets pitted on a bomb for about 4 seconds, spat out and then gets the same score.
