Those deer are running in circles when there's no wind. There trying to create wind by doing it. On a windy day they just off and into the wind with the dogs hot on there hooves. Dogs like the wind too.
Are you hunting fenced in property?? This my first yr hunting and I’m trying to figure out which way of hunting is better sitting in a stand or getting out on feet and walking ?
No sir I hunt in 2 private hunting clubs. If you’re just getting starting and are hunting public land The Hunting Public has a really great channel on here
I still hunt as well 3-4 days a weekand I can assure you dog hunting is a lot harder hunting, takes a lot more time and effort. You’re watching a 30 minute highlight clip out of a 14 hour day. If you don’t enjoy dog hunting or admire the work that goes into it that’s fine but why not watch things you enjoy?
As wide open as those woods are there’s not really paths that they cross on just general areas. As long as I get to see the crossing and what dog has it I’m happy. Everyone can do better til you’ve got a camera on you showing everything you do.
