- ENGLISH: This highly interesting film shows how coins are minted in the Netherlands more than a century ago at the Rijksmunt in Utrecht. See how silver Dutch Guilder coins were made! We follow the entire process from the moment of melting silver, rolling the metal out into plates from which the tokens are pressed, the minting of the effigy of the Dutch Queen i.e. the "head" on one side of the coin and the coin value on the reverse side, upto the final check and distribution of the finished coins. We also see images of the mint building itself around 1916 at the Leidseweg in Utrecht.

DUTCH: Deze hoogst interessante film toont hoe in Nederland ruim een eeuw geleden munten worden geslagen bij de Rijksmunt te Utrecht.
Wij volgen daarbij het hele proces vanaf het moment van het smelten van zilver, het uitwalsen tot platen waaruit met een pers door middel van stempel en rondel de penningen worden geperst, het slaan van de beeltenis van de koningin, oftewel de "kop" en de muntzijde tot aan de eindcontrole en de distributie van de gerede munten. We zien ook beelden van het muntgebouw zelf rond 1916 aan de Leidse weg te Utrecht.

No sorry, you can not. I spend at least 1 hour on each minute of film to restore and colorize it. It is not on CZcams "for the taking".
