LOL! I am old enough to remember when clogs///wooden-bottomed shoes, first hit the marketplace. What I remember is how often I would slip my foot out of them (when I was seated - and sometimes even standing!) because it wasn't very comfortable to be standing on wood blocks!! ; the calluses it caused on the bottoms of my toes; and - who can ever forget my sweet friend Sandy, who was so excited to show off her clogs "Jean - LOOK!" she tossed her foot into the air - and the clog went sailing, through the kitchen, and broke our friends kitchen window 😬 My friends mother came home later from work and screamed - "You kids had a wild party in the middle of the afternoon?!!"

Freddy, put the clogs down 😂😂 I despise them. I just can't do it. My mom made me wear them as a child in middle school as a very practical choice. I hated them.

Those rope wedges are fantastic, while those clogs make me cringe in pain. While I do think that clogs can be a very comfy footwear style, those being a wooden soles are actually pretty bad to wear for more than an hour or so, and I would never buy luxury "fashion" items as you just aren't going to get the cost per wear out of them. I would recommend waiting until there is a rubber soled Highstreet version if you are wanting to pick up a pair for this spring/summer.

I personally don't like clogs. Let's not talk about those bulky plastic ones that seem to be doctor's shoes...like no. But the ones like those you showed, well, here in Italy they are used only to go to the beach (easy to clean the sand off and let dry) or to go working in the garden and mostly by people over 40...they have been sold and used since the 50s and I have never ever caught anyone wearing them for anything else.
So no, clogs aren't normal or elegant or wearable shoes, they aren't fashionable or adaptable, they are practical for some occasions and that's it.

As a person who was a kid when those clog’s were the thing, I’d absolutely wear them again, they’re extremely comfortable and fun to wear. They’re not for everyone. What’s old is new again.

Same .. but u can take them to a tailor and ask to get them lined with a same color fabric
I think it depends on the type of undergarments you're wearing. Just changing the colour to nude isn't enough. Try a nude seamless thong or a nude seamless cheekster. And try a nude seamless bra too. Hope these tips help! ❤

As a Floridian, I find clog sandals such a cute/practical daytime staple for running around downtown to the Sunday market or lunch/brunch situations. I pair mine with breezy linen shirt dresses, denim skirts with simple naked blouses like halters or tube tops, and wide-leg shorts with lightweight button-up blouses. They’ll also transition into fall with maxi skirts/dresses or with sheer (or embroidered) socks and cropped skirts/jeans and coulottes for a nerdy French aesthetic with a Peter Pan collar blouse… (think Alexa Chung or Manrepeller)

I don't know if this helps but I gently wash my Zimmermann dresses and mine are all very delicate silk and I've not had a problem :)

Freddy, This is a bit of trivia…those sandals that you called clogs were the rage in the late 70’s and early 80’s in the United States and they were called Dr. Scholls and were supposed to be good for your feet. my daughters wore them and they went out of style pretty fast and I was so happy when that happened. However, and this applies to others like fashion mumblr, I do feel these high end, luxury videos feel uncomfortable within the current humanitarian crises. I totally understand this is your livelihood, but perhaps within this platform or video is there a way of even signposting ways to support Ukranian refugees? Or donating a small percentage of money from your luxury affiliate links to a charity? I am obviously not sure of anything you're personally doing, so please do not feel affronted. But as I say, even a small signpost at the end of your video on reliable charity links, or just ways to keep informed may be in really good taste. There is so much horror and despair going on every day in different parts of the world, and if I focus on one, I face endless criticism over why I’m not giving the same energy to *insert crisis/cause*. It’s exhausting and stressful as an ordinary person who is doing their best. I am very charitable in my personal life but I prefer to keep my work separate, as otherwise I set a precedent for every single thing I do online. I hope that makes sense 🤍

I feel that clogs really only look classy as sandals. The boots tend to overwhelm most people (unless you’re like 6”2’), the heels are hard to wear, and the sneakers/tennis shoes look off. If the youth go for it, more power to you! Only clogs I’ve owned were sandals, and if I get a new pair, they’ll be sandals as well.
