The blue vines are incredible. They remind me of wallpaper. What a unique way to do them.
You have done an exceptional job! I love your humor, nothing is ever boring. I think you should continue with this book. Remember this is no ordinary book it is a Johanna book and should not be buried under the pile so to speak. You color it so well. I look forward to more of your streams. I absolutely love the color palette you've chosen for this page! I'm coming back to this series of videos when my book arrives! I thought the background "walls" were my favorite until you added blue vines. Now I can't decide The whole page is my favorite!!! What a fabulous video. The picture looks beautiful. What I found really interesting is how you tackled all the small details which are as you said great fun but quite a challenge. Have learned a lot as usual from your high level of expertise. Would be keen to have a channel membership of some sort but not necessarily focussed on one book. What about specialising in a particular artist for a few months and then switching. EG 6 months on Johanna Basford, then another 6 on Rita Berman. This could help us all finish a range of books that we may already own. It’s just an idea but love everything that you do, so Congratulations on giving us a sensational channel.

I would love to tackle a book as while I like watching people colour, I get bored stupid doing it myself 😂ask me to shade something and I may go completely bonkers 😂BUT I would at least like to try to complete a page…maybe even a book!

Love this and I would love to color along through the whole book with you! In the US, so won't be getting my copy until early next month also.
Blue and green should not be seen without a colour in between. But, must say this combo is an exception.

If your white pen has a metal tip, try holding the tip up to (not directly in) a lighter flame for just a second or two. Works for me, even with ink pens. I’ll buy you a new one if it melts 😂 ❤

Hi Lucy re the gel pen that's not working -- you could try running it under the hot tap for a bit , sometimes that works with naughty gel pens xx

Hi Lucy. I’m a little late watching your video. I have the Rooms of Wonder coloring book and FC Polychromos set. I started coloring the cover, and I don’t know how to start the pages. Have you started the color along? And how does the membership work to join you monthly. Is there a membership fee? I’m interested in joining.

I looked for Johanna’s book on Amazon to order and unfortunately there’s someone who has plagiarized her new book. I reported it to Amazon, it would probably help if more did so, but I’m curious if it’s been brought to Basfords attention. Truly awful.
