No you can directly attend the program but after that you can't practice in the UK. You can come back to india and practice.
No such minimum marks. But after pursuing masters there you can't practice there till you clear ore..

You can not practice in UK directly after masters in dentistry (dental subjects) there. You still have to clear ORE or LDS.

Hi sir, I would like to ask if we need to be a licensed dentist in own country first before applying for the GDC? As I came across the required document for ORE, they need the Certificate of Current Professional Status from own country.
Yes if you applying for ORE you need to be licensed in your own country.. ORE is overseas registered dentist exam..

Since UK has announced withdrawal from EU ,Uk is now going to introduce point based system so as to limit free movements. Are there any changes expected in the process of visa or ORE for overseas dentists? Is it now more difficult or it has no effect as such?
This will mainly help with the PR process. Point based system is in use in countries like Canada.
But the ore exam needs to be cleared.
Yes if we get pr through the points system then practicing as a dental hygienist would be easier.
But nothing confirmed yet about the points based pr system. So for now the old pattern continues. Even after introduction we need to see the cut off in the system..

If you planning to practice is Germany. It doesn't matter. They need a recognised degree. Marks are not a deciding factor.

Hello, Suppose i studied BDS and did my internship from Bangladesh and practice in Nepal as i am a Nepali. In that case my letter of good standing should be from Bangladesh Dental council or Nepal Dental council? Can you please reply me sir? I actually did read the guideline from GDC but it wasn’t clear to me .

Yes, you can do masters without ore. But you can't practice there after masters. To practice masters is compulsory.

Which country are you planning to do BDS from. You have to see that. If India you need to give ore for practicing there.

You don't need any experience. But you should have your final degree. Provisional degree is not enough.

Majority countries dont recognise our degree so exam is compulsory in them.. I have not come across any country in Europe, North America, Oceania, Middle East which allow practice without exam.

No rule of waiting between ore 1 and 2. Depends on when next exam is conducted and whether you get a seat or not.

No you can't. it means you are restricted from doing a job as a dental hygienist/therapist but you can apply for ore and give those exams. Once you get a job you can shift your visa to work from spouse.
To work as a hygienist or therapist you need the clinic to provide you work visa. This becomes expensive so they usually don't agree.
The reason they do this is to prevent immigrants taking jobs of locals.

Hi had thought about this.. the problem is salary within a country has a huge variation.. but yes currently the easiest country to migrate is Canada but their exams are not easy..

US is not tough yet.. the salaries in Canada, UK, USA are exponential when you compare with income of dentists in India.. quite a lot of people go through to US.. we will try making a video explaining the different methods and options in the US 🙂..

Nbde is not valid in UK. You will have to give ORE or LDS.

You are not allowed to work on basis of passing ore 1.. to work as hygienist you need to just apply in their website egdc website with all your documents..
Few people take a tourist visa and join a course there to clear part 2.. some come back to india and prepare..

Masters can be done with ORE but you can't practice there till you complete ORE exam.
Masters has no relation with ORE exams in UK.
For applying for masters check various colleges like Manchester, kings and others, then decide subject then apply. Entire process for each individual university explained in their website.

Yes but this includes internship and work done in college.. 1600 means only 200 days of 8 hr practice.. usually internship is enough..
If you don't have the hrs can be easily achieved by having few months post college experience..

There are MSc programs in the UK. You can apply for them directly. Each university has their own requirements. But after completing the masters if you want to work you will have to clear ORE/LDS exam.

Once you clear the exam you will earn adequate. But, you have to enough funds to have 2-3 attempts not easy to clear in first attempt. Possible, but not easy.

No you don't have to give ORE to do masters there.
But even after masters there to practice in UK you have to clear ORE.

Don't know about oral surgery but yes you can do MSc in UK without GDC registration but you can't practice there. After the MSc if you want to practice license exams to be completed.
