It amazes me that people just walk on with no acknowledgement or thank you to the guard they have just photographed. Maybe I’m over sensitive or polite, but I’m married to a wounded warrior and I dislike any exploitation of our service members and /or their families for any reason. Thank you guards for your service from your brothers and sister across the pond who get it. ❤❤❤❤❤
They are literally a statue. Why would they even be standing there if it wasn't a SHOW. This is a Palace shit SHOW. People should be able to take pictures in any poses.
@@qs1862”literally”? So the man turned into stone, and no longer a human? & he’s there for a reason. To guard the palace, police aren’t always there and might no get there quick enough if some psycho tries to get in.
At the end he was politely letting them know something was coming through the archway as he nodded to so them something was coming. Very polite Guardsman.
Polite? He scared the girls. He should have just said "stand back" instead, he essentially traumatized them.
The way that woman looks offended that he dared to stand his ground.
I think he had enough when the adolescents came too close but he was as gentle as he could have been. Respect the guards!
They're humans; respect them, they're all actual soldiers, not Disney characters. I would take a picture of the guard, but certainly would not jump in and take one with him. Some people are rude and clueless.
Then why are they dressed like that … makes one forget who they really are … in an army uniform no one would even dare come close
Even being Disney cast members, they have to approve the approach from anyone that close. People so disrespectful
He was very kind and patient with his approach.
With that hat n uniform, he can't even stop a Turtle from getting in without permission
Women, do not cross the boundaries of what is permitted by clinging to him, he is a guard and a man
Love how He told the young girls to step back❤ Great job
Yeah I noticed that he let everybody else come up like and stand right up against him but he only had a problem when the young girls came up... I mean I don't want to think things about him but I mean.....?
@@RoseBushThorns588It seems the time on duty had ticked
@@artisthusnatalal3099
I think it's bcuz she got too close to his weapon (sword)
At least he didn’t yell at her , he probably was feeling overwhelmed
@@vanessabrown7736yup. And they do yell sometimes. Quite rightly, imo.
He's a sweet young man. They shouldn't be touching him but he's accepting it.
Until a young woman did the same and he took it out on her
@@ps-yk8suI think it's bc there were one on each side. If he has to react it would be hard to with being he is in the middle then.
@@ps-yk8su He's a guard on duty. A real professional military soldier. Not a Disney mascot.
@@edstar83exactly what I was thinking!
He deserves more respect than what these ppl* are giving him. Shameful.
That was the calmest I ever heard the kings Gaurd 😂
I hate strangers in my space. The guard was quite tolerant. It’s a matter of SECURITY too.
WOW SECURITY....so why is he wearing funny clothes? He's foremost a tourist attraction.
@@fritzhenning1he is not a tourist attraction. Tourism come to see. Learn British history. Not the woke slave stuff.
Not one person said thank you.
(1) Tourism (sic) come to see = tourist attraction; the Guards are one of our main tourist attractions, why else do they appear on publicity material, tea-towels etc etc; (2) I suspect I know a lot more about British history than you; did you study history at university? (3) What is 'woke slave stuff'? Are you suggesting that the British had nothing to do with the slave trade; that British slave owners/traders welcomed its ending; and, that there is something wrong in drawing attention to this awful stain on British history which you, apparently want hidden, or didn't know about?
@@fritzhenning1If you actually don't know any better than that you shouldn't be allowed out in public without a keeper. Their uniforms have been designed from hundreds of years of experience and tradition and no matter if you can comprehend that or not you should still behave as if you have common sense. Be respectful.
Geez, the lady in the white shirt assaulted his elbow with her chest 🤦♀️😅
She was the only one to thank him with a little wave too
Surprised how quiet an polite he was
The most calm stand back I heard by a guard 😂
Guard...Thank You for your service, sacrifice, professionalism, military bearing and tradition keeper.
I very respectfully salute you.
Thank you for standing around all day for selfies.
Yeah. He’s so brave putting his life on the line like this every day. 🙄

You'd be calling the cops if someone stood that close to you in a public space.
His spider-sense tingled when some thickness approached. 💥
That young man is so patient.
That's not a relevant analysis.
@@alanwilliams2284 yes it is !
Lot of tourists rubbing against him! Dang... rude.
Serious Guard but calm and polite...well done! 🙂
I wonder if any of these guards have been able to pull some cute birds while on duty.
I'd be taking pictures of Their Police 😎🥰 The Guards need to be Left Alone!!!
These men are not just some clowns in a costume, they are highly decorated and trained Royal Marines 😮
I'd always thought they were Army, but either way not to be messed with. Defo not toy soldiers nor there just for entertainment, which a lot of people don't seem to realise.
I mean they aren’t but they sort of are also. You put some guards out for tourists in little costumes with horsies of course the tourists will make a mockery of it so the country did it to itself.
Even if people didnt act like fools and left them alone it would still be a side show at this point.
Not Royal Marines
They’re definitely not Royal Marines they are part of the house hold Calvary which is army
What does that mean lol
Such a gentle voice. This is the guard I want to see if I ever make it
I will say, I think he handled this all as a true gentleman, well done lad.
Both sides rhat close must be a "no no". Makes perfect sense. He was quite polite about it. 👍
It seems there is some activity just off camera... they just unlucky timing forntheir pic
@@ten77emt I'm pretty sure it's because they were to close on both sides. He is an actual guard first and foremost.
Leave them alone and just take a dang picture of only him standing there 🤦🏻♂️ its extremely frustrating when these weirdos get all close constantly having everyone one after another for a dang picture
Hard to resist how well he looks.
That's a real solder who has probably seen some nasty action.
There's no probability about it, he'll have just come back from serving abroad.
And not even near one of them said thank you and acknowledged him as a person.... wankers
He’s more of a statue asking for people to take a picture with him 🤣
That was the most gentle step back I've ever heard.
always makes me laugh when they look at the guard for seconds waiting for some sort of acknowledgment. move along the world don't revolve around you 🤣
Thank you for doing your post with a high level of professionalism and extremely patient with the people you come across you and the rest are perfect
Beautiful attitude. I can see the kindness on your face ❤️
