- I love playing games on my PC, but I dislike mouse and keyboard and vastly prefer traditional controllers. This video shows the results of my quest to comfortably play Ready Or Not on PC, with a gamepad. Works for reWASD and Steam Input.

I have a gaming pc but i hate keyboards
Well done man
Thank you! 🫡
Great video. Was on the edge of my seat throughout.
Awesome! Considering how niche of a topic it is, I was a little worried it would maintain anyone's interest. Thank you! 🍻
@@ArzePoetic I swear to God I usually have more fun thinking up crazy custom control configurations on reWASD than I do playing the actual game.
😆 I know what you mean! I've certainly done the same. Especially with modding some games. I'll spend several hours testing mods and then playing the game itself for like an hour and call it a day lol.
please make a video on the voice command for this game
I haven't tried it myself yet, but maybe if I get around to it. I would recommend checking out Karmakut and Dead Pixel Gaming though, they both have good videos on how to set it up. I linked both of them in the description.
let's hope "Ready or Not" comes to console soon!
Hell yeah! Would really like for more people to be able to give it a try!
I have the cracked version is there any other way for me to get your community layout?
You could try adding it to your Steam library manually, so you can use Steam Input. Only other option would be to install reWASD and use that, so you can still just download my configs. ReWASD is $7 though for the basic edition (worth it IMO), but you can do a free trial too.
Will this work on an Xbox controller with back paddles
Yes. You will just have to set different binds for the Tablet and the Push to Talk button.
One other question well not really a question I cannot find the layout on steam
@Jsg90 If you search under community guides section for Ready Or Not on Steam, I made a guide in there that has all the steam config links. Otherwise, if you search community binds for ArzePoetic, it should pop up under Steam Input.
Just remember to change those in game bindings like I mention in the video.
@@ArzePoetic I’m still new to PC Gaming I don’t know how to search for bindings.
@Jsg90 It is a little hard to get used to in the beginning if you're still new to PC. You have to have your controller plugged in while Steam is open, and you should see a little controller icon on the game page, like when you go to your game library and select a game. The little controller icon is going to be on the right side next to the settings icon for the game. Once you click that you will have to 'Enable Steam Input', and in there you should see an option to customize controller layout and then search for community layouts. Like I show in the video at 4:42. If you can't find it, I recommend trying Steam in 'Big Picture Mode', which makes the interface more like a console. If you still have some trouble I recommend looking up a video specifically for Big Picture Mode or Steam controller layouts.
Alternatively when you're on the page for the game in your library (like at 1:36 in the video) you should see a tab that says 'Guides'. In there you can find my guide for controller layouts and it will have direct links you can click on for my Steam configs.
not fully true the ue4 version HAD gamepad support
Damn really? I have been playing since the UE4 version and I can't remember how it was. I recall always having issues with it though, which is why I've been going down this rabbit hole for so long.
@@ArzePoetic you needed to type in nogamepad=false into the ini and then you could freely map it via another ini.
with ue5 the command seems non functional tho. i asked on their discord to bring it back we will see
@mikeserds2333 Oh snap! I see. Yeah I get the feeling that they eventually will want to bring it back, and hopefully even implement proper support that doesn't require editing an .ini file.
@@ArzePoetic it did come with a alpha selection wheel too, so they clearly put some effoirt in it already
@mikeserds2333 Damn! I wish I had tried that. I think a wheel will probably be the best way to tackle the command menu. 🤔
