Thank you, man. I been recently training on games like deathmatch and or team deathmatch. Which improves my aim 10x better than when training and range. I will also try to focus on focusing when I need to and fix my crosshair placement as well and try to straf walk

I ended up changing and getting rid of walk and focus mode and that has helped me tremendously. I kicked up the first two sensitivities to nine kept everything else the same also made my own crosshairs
I usually use focus mode when at range or when I need to give myself extra stability on my crosshair. I usually use it when holding and angle or pre aiming so that I can keep my crosshair stable. I also use it after I complete a flick to keep myself from not going away from the target. Once I get better control of my sticks I shouldn’t have to use it as much.
Just bind your walk to lt or l2 and then your aim to your r3 or right stick and prioritize aim instead of focus makes it 10x easier to walk

I like csgo but my pc wont let me play valorant for some reason so im glad its coming to console, i just wish there was a gun with a scope that wasnt a sniper, i love the snipers im just so used to the ssg in csgo lol. Thank you for the tips
The game plays surprisingly well on console tbh, everyone (including me) still kinda sucks but it’s fun seeing the progression the more I play

Personally i use a fast version of smooth response curve that i got from one of the very first console setting vids for val. I had to tone it down a bit but as someone who uses linear on most games, smooth feels alot better and more fine with its control than linear does. Its close enough not to affect me switching games but smooth has better vertical comtrol which i like

You make aiming on console look easy, I find my aim just goes all over the screen
I literally can't aim without focus, I just can't get used to not using it
Go into dm. Practice hipfire only and unbind focus fro a few games. You will die a lot atbfirst but u get used to it, trust
it can take time, if its what u need rn then theres nothing wrong with it

@@blixenfpsnah focus is gonna get irrelevant once people get better and understand mechanics focus is more for the casual player base most good players including myself who have either come from pc or have just got the hang of it quickly don’t use it but that’s just my take on things don’t take what I’m saying for granted

For counterstrafing did it take you a while to get used to it? Ive tried it before but I always end up moving the opposite direction instead of a full stop 💀 also it feels fairly unnatural
it definitely takes a lot of practice! it’s super useful, keep practicing it and I promise you’ll see the results.

I have trouble finding headshot level as I’m so new & not knowing LOS, also shots not registering properly or dying instantly. Also have a sniper bug I emailed riot about where I ADS and the crosshairs goes elsewhere, and I have to in about .2ms adjust to snipe. Wondering if there’s a remedy for that too
Rhats why i felt so at home. 5 to 10 years ago i played the 360 port and there was a legit community for it. I need to get usedd to the recoils then ill be dog walking kids like the good old days of csgo on the 360.

they will not make you play against pc players because its a different game to pc, some agents are balanced way differently for controller.

one thing i hate absolutely hate about this game is that the game forces you to use focus mode when using the classic and i absolutely hate it so much, they need to swap the shotgun blast and single fire, idk why single fire is focus mode its so annoying.

just tap spraying isnt good in this game
this is why you burst/tap silly. If you spray you won’t be accurate. If you move and shoot you won’t be accurate. it’s as simple as that

Focus is literally jus hip fire with more aim assist I didn’t use it when I first started played but now I use it and I like it a lot jus sucks I can’t increase the sensitivity any faster
I’m already used to not using focus coming from a pc roller people should def not be using it and get used to the regualar mechanics

theres a setting that makes u run while in focus. and focus gives u extra aim assist so PLEASE use ts its just better to turn this setting off and still get the aim assist

It does not give extra aim assist, its just a slower sensitivity

@Jay55273 tbf, it could be mistaken as more aim assist, because most of the response curves slow down your sens, and the slower ur sens is, the easier it is to keep on target, but the values are the same. But virtually every game with aim assist does this.

Nope- Xbox controllers don’t have gyro technology so they didn’t implement it

no aim assist but there is an option that's on, I believe it's more for keeping your looking on a horizontal level. it's not aim assist, but it does stop you from looking vertically while moving your stick. if that makes sense. if there is aim assist, my teammates need to turn it on

@Ainpy I wouldn't play it if it had aim assist. that's not the experience of it. it's the same with r6, tactical shooters can't do that, I was really worried at first. but I think it's better on console than pc💀💀
there absolutely is aim assist on the console version. if you wanna test it, just do a 360 with an enemy in the path of your crosshairs. when you pass over the enemy, your rotation will dramatically slow down.
