Omg this gives me childhood memories.. My mom always cooked liver for me and my sister and we actually loved it.. I never asked my mom where liver came from but ate it anyways..Sooo flavorful too🥰 thx for sharing! 🙏
My mom fed us liver n onions with gravy and we ate it cuz we loved it and if we didn’t want it we could go hungry till supper the next day! I fixed it for MY kids and found out recently (35 yrs later) that they never ate it when i fixed it. They told me after they took a bite of it they would pretend to take a sip of milk and theyd spit their bite of liver into the milk! It’s funny…NOW 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤣🤣🤣
That’s just way to much work😂I freeze it in little tiny pieces and Swallow them raw in the morning for my multi vitamin 🙌🏻 but they are delicious cooked in some butter though 😊
Don't do it with paler livers though because it can mess with the availability of iron in the liver and the nutrition is one of the biggest pros of eating liver
I never had liver like this. We usually fry liver and then use the bits to make a gravy with onions. I probably wouldn’t like liver if I had it like this 🥴.
Onions need to be slowly caramelized. Liver needs to be properly prepared then *briefly seared* on each side. Then you put them together. Throwing everything in one over crowded pan isn't the way. The two ingredients have different cook times. I wouldn't be such a hater but you titled this 'the best' which is what I was hoping to find. It looks really disappointing
Circle of life we should be composted at least as well put some nutrients back into the world instead of chemicals or pollutants. Not saying don't eat meat but I do say eat less meat if you are in a wealthy country. The average non athletic adult only requires 3 to 5 oz of meat a day. (I know there are plant. Options but they don't have it all in one unless highly processed.)
You're IGNORANT! We've been eating animals (not all) since the beginning of times n they were put here for that purpose! God gave man dominion over the beast, and every creeping thing n fowls of the air 🤯🙄☦🛐🩸 Go read your Bible ❗

Se second she put the liver on the onions before they properly softened it hurt me
I coat mine with flour first and cook them alone and put onions on top after cooking 😋
That was good i didnt see one ingredient you put in ,cos it was too fast

Interesting idea
Soaking liver in milk helps get rid of that super, rich iron-y taste. It also makes it a little sweet 🫣
Highly recommend to soak liver in milk for a couple of hours to remove the bitter flavor. Grandma trick back in the 80’s
Some people don't mind the strong flavor...I am one of them 🙄

I just did that but I used plain kefir milk. I soaked it overnight though just because i forgot about it. Worked well.
Aguy liver! Kalami pero prefer nako with lots of garlic adobohon nga pina uga

Why do so many people not know how to cook liver and onions... if you dont soak it in milk for a few hours you might as well eat cat food and onions
