Tysm for just being the most selfless people. We need so many more people like this.
So beautiful, the work you are doing ! Why can't all humans see how precious animals are ? Thank you so much !
CCR has my forever support!!!
just saw the piece on GMA. You made me cry dammit. đ
There's too much cruelty in the world these days. đ„đ
Keep up the hard, good work! There's nothing like the love of good horses. đđâ€ïžđ
Anyone who hasn't seen Big Johns story needs to go back and watch from the first day of his rescue when he was in such a poor state..needed to put on weight but full of scars from harnesses and WHIP marks..hed huge but sooo gentle..there was no need to whip him he always was happy to follow instructions even from day 1
Great job you're doing đâ€
Absolutely beautiful story. You guys are amazing and I love the work you are doing. Wish I was able to adopt one of your rescues, but alas, not in a position to do so. Keep on, and thank you.
Would his injuries not be tantamount to cruelty to animal by his Amish owners? You would think that the Amish way of life would be such that they would respect and love their animals. Sure doesn't seem that way. After seeing what Big John's lot in life was, I certainly do not have the same opinion of Amish people that I used to. But the good news is, Big John is hero and the fact you have given him his life back is very heartwarming. Well done!
The Amish are absolutely AWFUL to their animals. Their mindset is that animals are just tools.
@@UrpleSquirrel I feel so unaware all of a sudden. I had no idea that the Amish treated their animals this way. This is very disturbing. Certainly they can all be like that. I gotta think that this would be a percentage of their society. Or at least I hope
a high concentration of puppy mills are located in Amish communities. Don't equate simplicity of life with kindness to animals. Animals are a commodity for the Amish.
Horses are considered livestock so itâs very hard to convict abuse cases. He was also bought from an auction so they likely canât trace who the owners were.
There was a Belgium horse named Big John that drew tourist carriages and collapsed in the street a few years ago. There is a YT video with him lying in the road while in his harness.
Did you know that jairo is stealing your contents and making the page as their own?

Years of abuse? You know nothing about his past.
tsk. The vet exam upon intake will tell the story and timeline in detail.
Actually they know exactly where he came from. Itâs my daughter and daughter-in-lawâs rescue
What does that have to do with anything ?
Theyâre doing more for these animals than some people
