its always funny how when nic makes something new its severely underrated but like 3 years from now people will seek out TOTDY just as they did with Neon demon and Only God forgives years after they were released

Nic Refn is such a great director, and what a wonderful cast he got for this TV series. Billy Baldwin is pure Gold. I´m subscribing to Amazon Prime just for this. Thanks for the video!
This "show" is one of the most uniquely original pieces of cinema this century. It's definitely not for everyone

@@investinfastudios Most people don't get it for many different reasons, mainly they get disconnected by Refn's ultra slow rhythm, but that's exactly what makes it compelling among other things.

I love how even his stuff that don't have supernatural elements still feel supernatural. I look at all of his content as taking place in the same universe,a world on top of our own.
Folks who are into Criminal, Fatale, Pulp and Reckless ATE this show up like candy. This was like if Brubakers books came to life(fingers crossed that refkn helps them if Criminal really does end up getting made)

Both of those shows were the best ones of the last decade. Twin Peaks being number one and Too Old to Die Young being number 2.
@@joelwoods7149 they both probably had the best cinematography of the last decade but Too Old To Die Young definitely isn't near the best show of the last decade.
