Hello everybody, let us have a quick look at the introduction video of the 'Smart Network' module of Water Infra Suite. Smart Network will help water network designers to prepare drawing for Water Infrastructure Projects.
Smart Network has a unique set of programs that are tailor-made solutions for water engineering Designers and Draftsman. "Smart Network" will help engineers save considerable time working in CAD Package.
It has Categorised based on functionality.
Junction Management -
Junction Management Category will help to prepare Network for hydraulics design, Finding Short Path between Source to Distribution Tanks, and Auto Junction Numbering for the Network.
Alignment Management
In Alignment Management Category, the 'Smart network' program will help to work on alignments. You can do multiple tasks like marking chainage at the apex point, insert blocks along the alignment, cut alignment at a given interval, sorting polyline based on Length, export alignment vertex coordinates and count houses along the alignment and export the data to Excel.
Alignment Optimisation
You can correct alignment vertex with Standard Bend angle and Length of the segment. You can also correct only the Angles at the bend in the Alignment Optimization category.
Elevation Management
In the Elevation management Category, you can find Maximum and minimum Elevation in a given survey drawing, create Elevation from 3d points and move the elevation Text to the nearest alignment.
3D Polyline Management
In the 3D polyline Management Category, you derive data from 3Dpolyline like Export XYZ, Interpolate, create 3Dpolyline based on vertex elevation, create multiple 3D points from 3D contour and 3Dpolyline from LS Profile.
Longitudinal Sections
In Longitudinal Section Category, the program will help you update LS Remarks on alignment, export Remarks from LS, Do Drop Design for Canal Section LS, Create LS Band and update new Values in Band and create Cumulative chainage in LS Band.
Text Alignment (in CAD Menu it Shown as Drawing Presentation)
Text Alignment programs will help you eliminate Text Over Lapping in the Water Engineering project, and this solution will save considerable time and effort. It will insert Pipe and Junction Details Text in Separate Layer and check overlap in all possible combination.
Text Placement
Text placement programs will help you to Eliminate Text Over Lapping in the Water Engineering project. It will insert Pipe and Junction Details text as a group and allows you to move the text group to avoiding overlap quickly.
Smart Network is available in two different versions Pre-Design and Post Design. Smart Network Predesign is helpful to prepare drawings as input to Hydraulics Software, and After the design is done, you can improve drawing presentation using Smart Network Post Design module.All these programs are explained in detail in the upcoming videos of this playlist.
