!CRITICAL UPDATE!
There is a new version of the PWGR patcher necessary for some new modpack features
New Beta Version (Recommended):

New Instructions:
In your game folder look for the file "FireProWrestlingW_Data" and double click it.
Then double click "Managed" and delete any file named "UnityEngine.original" or "UnityEngine.original.dll".
Find the file name "unityengine" or "unityengine.dll".
Click that file and then press ctrl+c, then ctrl+v, say yes you want to make a copy.
Right click the new copy and choose rename then rename it "unityengine.original" or "unityengine.original.dll" depending upon whether it started with the .dll or not.
Then run the new PWGR Patcher as normal.
Pinning these for easy access, let me know in the comments if you have any other questions.

Hi GUD, great video as per! I'm struggling with the ModPack, I've installed it correctly as your video instructed, but when I launch the game, I only get a couple of mods available despite patching them. Any ideas?

Thanks for being so forthcoming on how all these fun mods work! I'm a little confused about the Borking example though. I get that I need to not let steam update my game, but is that only when I have the mod running? Also, will it bork if the game if I'm adding workshop content from steam? Do I just need to always go offline on steam and then launch the game to be safe? Again, I appreciate your time and efforts.
It's less of a concern now since there isn't any new content planned but essentially anytime the developers are going to patch the game it's safer to go offline until the modpack is updated to the new game version. You can use the workshop and everything absolutely fine this is just to prevent you from loading up modded content with an unmodded game by accident. In the past this could really mess up custom moves but now that custom moves are done via move craft it might be less of an issue too.
hey thanks so much for this @GUD... one issue: after I click "Patch Fire Pro World" in the patcher, an error box pops up saying: "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application... Object reference not set to an instance of an object" and in the "details" drop bar I think its wanting me to enable "JIT debugging" for the app or something... make sense to you? ...idk, im confused about it, how do I do that?? ....thank you again!

If yes, can you point me in the right direction on some 101 stuff or even find some to download along with a tutorial? Great stuff here.
I think LED Aprons are out if I recall correctly Carl's discord would be the place to ask for sure though.

Hey @GUD, thanks so much for all of your work! You really helped me after re-installing the game several times. One quick question which is driving me nuts, some of my downloaded wrestlers are greyed out in the selection screen, but even worse, when I try to edit, the page is in japanese and has no wrestler image. Any idea what I can do?

The greyed out wrestlers is because they use content you don't own likely some DLCs or perhaps even a part from the the news parts craft DLC. The edit's being in Japanese does seem like a bug/problem the best I can say is to head over to Carl's bug report channel on discord with the log file and maybe we can find something

@@marcomasucci6293 Unfortunately if they use content that you do not own, yes, you can not load them until you buy the missing content however with the edit bug it may be fixable/figurable via the discord. One trick I recommend to people to prevent this happening (it's pretty common whenever a new DLC comes out) is that once you download an edit you like you can make a new edit by copying them, that edit will not be connected to the Workshop so if someone does change them with DLC content it will not effect you :)

Hey GUD, great video! I've gave it a go but when I go to run the PWGR patcher im hitting a salmon screen where the mod options usually are. i'm using the test release from the discord and the latest mod pack. Any ideas?
IF YOUR PATCHER IS PINK COLORED
- go to FireProWrestlingW_Data -> Managed
- scroll to the bottom and find the UnityEngine.dll application extension
- create a copy of it in the same folder, named UnityEngine.original.dll
- run the patcher which will now be blue and working correctly
Also be aware that the modpack has potential issues with Parts Craft and you should make sure you have the newest Test Releases as they come out.

@@jamesdematteo7385 Then you didn't follow the directions. Because that means you unzipped the PWGR zip file wrong as it should unzip that file into the games actual managed and instead you just have that file on it's own.
@@jamesdematteo7385 That means you didn't follow a step correctly somewhere because you are looking at the unzipped managed folder from the pwgr compressed file, which should not be separate and should be merged with the actual managed file for the game. The fact that it's separate means you uncompressed it to the wrong place which will only happen if you didn't follow the steps.
Hey, I followed the tutorial and got the mod to work perfectly. Thanks for that! A question I still have, however, is: How do you get a customized venue, like the one you had at the end of the video? Is there an additional software or mod I need to get?
TBMAX TB CustomArenas are part of the modpack. You can copy the texture images for the base arena and then edit them in image editing software to build your own arenas

Hi how's it going, I can't seem to get the royal rumble to work, like it shows up in the game but when I select it, it says you need to add extra westlers, where is that option and I don't get a mod window outside of the game to turn it on. Dose the royal rumble mod work?
Is it worth for someone who mainly plays on console getting the game on PC (for the mods) instead of the console version?
Vinicius Tavares it depends how deep down the rabbit hole you are willing to go. Custom moves, title belts that automatically show during champ entrances, unlimited entrance attires, heels being booed, custom weapon skins, the list goes on. If you want to put another 400-1200 hours into the game then absolutely if you just play casually and don’t want to learn a lot of technical stuff or dive deep in the mods maybe not
With the move importer removed from the mod pack . How can I import any downloaded moves that are in .move/.bytes format? . Or is it only possible to import moves through the steam workshop?
Importing .bytes/.move is no longer supported. Only workshop now but most of the reputable creators have converted their stuff from .move/.byte to workshop already.
When i click patch. It just come up with error. Can you help me? I tried it with both test version and release version. Also tried with both Patcher in your description. None work
How do u fix this if it messes up and crashes? It doesn't let me log into fire promoter or view my created characters. It says SWA which its not supposed to say and doesn't show any of my characters.
When I try to run the patcher it's just an orange screen. The black bios screen says some file couldn't be found
having a real tough time. follow every step to a tee, open up pwgpatcher choose everything the video checked. run the patcher but don't get the code at the end and nothing happens when I launch the game other then the game launching

I have done everything as instructed in the video and I'm getting a menu that filled with Japanese text. Plus it doesn't see the other menus
I was told that I have done something wrong in the install.
If you followed the instructions then you shouldn't be getting that menu. My advice would be to either find my discord and bring a picture of your PWGR.exe screen or start over and follow them more closely

Hello. I'm trying to get the Edit Share part of the mod to work. I'm just trying to get a good MMA save together. I got the mod to work and all, and the only things I ticked on was the modpack general and edit share. When i start the game some japanese text comes up (it says something to the effect of press esc or O button to stop caching) and hangs there. I cant play the game. What gives?
My guess would be you missed a step or acquired the modpack from an old source. That's generally not how launching works on a successful install. Did you also see the pinned comment for getting the newest version of PWGR?

not working for me in Jan 2020. Keeps saying it can't find specific files when I launch PWGR Patcher. Specifically I get a light beige-ish colored window and the Patcher keeps displaying errors such as "object reference not set to an instance of an object" and also says looking at mod console tools.dll and PWGR Framework.dll

Generally yes, usually the modpack is updated for new updates within a few days and the best way to stay in the safe zone is to check on the modpack discord

Something has been done incorrectly and if you can see your patch all window and the game you definitely fell off the path somewhere because the patcher should not be open when you are launching the game.
Is your game crashing when trying to edit a wrestler using the 2.13.7 version? Like it works without the modpack but with it, it crashes once you try to edit someone.
Mine is not make sure you have the latest test version of the modpack. Also make sure if you are using any additional mods they are up to date as well.

It's all up to date, but I'm thinking maybe one of the options I'm using is the problem.

Gud Any chance of a arena creation tutorial on fpwfp iv done ring but cant figure out how to do arenas for promotion mode.
It just so happens I made a Royal Albert Hall arena yesterday evening. My first real world arena, I'll be using it for our Backdraft PPV this weekend but I could probably do a video breaking down how I went about doing it and stuff.
If you just mean using different arenas you downloaded I could do a tutorial on that as well :)

You have to setup camera angles first there is a default file floating around somewhere and they can then be changed using the number keys 1-0 on the keyboard.

Hi again Gud, when I launch the game there is PWGR windows which opens with the mods I selected. But the game itself is a black windows with the logo of downloading at the bottom right. At the bottom left there is written :

Subscribed Wrestler : 1000
Total Wrestler : 1000/1000
But I have subcribed to no wrestler at all. And the game still at this step. Do you know what's the matter please ? Thanks a lot !
Nicolas Bonacorsi The only thing I can guess is that it may be you are using an old version of the modpack make sure you are on the latest version

Short Answer, No. Long Answer, trying to utilize the modpack without the modpack discord as a resource is an exercise in futility... it's much more of a resource than an infestation.
I followed all your steps and I get to the match setup and it's stuck on a black loading screen with the logo spinning
That could be caused by a myriad of different things. You'll need to take a pwgrlog file and submit it to the discord. Typically that's a problem with a file of some kind missing that's trying to load but it could be other things.

How do you get the Venue Setting Form mod to work
I mean it works fine for me so without asking a more specific question I can't tell you. Perhaps watch the arena creation tutorial we might go over it on that one.
I tried to use match pacing mod and when I get to the match the referees head is all that is in the ring. No wrestlers just the ref’s head on the mat. I also tried using the blood stains and weapon collision mods and the game crashes at the select wrestler screen. I have reinstalled the patcher and newest mod pac.
Newest Release or Test Version of the modpack? The current working version is Test not Release.

Can I do this using Mozilla/windows 10
so i've used 7zip on the files, when i open the PWGR Patcher it just comes up with this little pink window that never changes.

@@GamerUnderDev i already have a UnityEngine.original.dll app extension so when i copy it it just creates UnityEngine.original.dll(2) and still comes up blank and pink. am i supposed to copy the file somewhere else or stay in FireProWrestlingW_Data -> Managed?
If you paste and it asks if you want to replace, the answer is yes. This happened because you didn't actually replace the file. Without screenshots it's hard to diagnose if it's something different.

@@canadianfatass4378 Honestly if you already have one this may not be the issue. I've had everything from people running the patcher in it's own folder to running the wrong patcher. I would recommend getting in touch with me on discord and sending screenshots or going to the modpack discord (although they will probably recommend you to this video since when followed step by step it works for 95% of people)
any idea why the motw crashes my game after the match ends if I watch the match?
The best thing to do in this situation is check the pin in the #mod-bug-reports and follow the direction in the pinned message to get a log. From there someone in #mod-bug-reports can probably help.

Sorry I can't be more specific help but I've never experienced that one and it could very well be a bug in the current test version (if you aren't on that version make sure you update to it before reporting the bug as it may have been fixed)

Kevin Davis you don’t need to cancel that you just need to be patient the cache is your game files and edits being loaded and should remain on.

@@kevin2400 It shouldn't take forever but it can take a moment since it's loading attires and things. There is a brief delay for me before they start

UPDATE: Never mind, fixed it!

- a beige patcher means you have an out-of-date Assembly-Csharp.original
- this should be solved by simply applying the newest release or test version of the modpack, but if not:
- go to FireProWrestlingW_Data -> Managed
- find Assembly-Csharp.dll
- create a copy of it in the same folder and rename to Assembly-Csharp.original.dll
- run patcher which should now be blue and functioning correctly
Is there any way to import edits for 2.18.x version? Besides workshop
I'm not aware of a 2.18.x version. The latest version seems to be 2.15.2 unless perhaps you are on console, in which case that's a totally different system for getting edits.
@@GamerUnderDev My bad, it's 2.12.18, which could subsequently be updated up to 2.15.2. I'm on PC. So far when all instructions are finished "PWGR" window appears when I launch the game, but it's empty.
@@stepstony3683 Then no, the only reason people stay on 2.12.18 vs going to 2.15.2 is if they are using a pirated version... so no... the modpack even has a piracy check which may be what you are running into.
@@GamerUnderDev You can still updated to higher versions even if you're using a pirated version, but you're right in this case. I suspected that might be it. Thank you for responding so quickly and let me compliment you on the video. You can can see that it's a subject you spend hundreds of hours on and you share it in a very understanding manner, addressing all kind of potential obstacles and doing your best not to overwhelm the user. Seriously well done.

When I go to the pwgr link it looks different assuming because my browser is the new Windows 10 browser. It's telling me I should extract folders from the patcher. Should I do that and put them in the firepro folder?

I didnt. Dont be so quick to assume just cuz im a rookie 😜 i had to uninstall and reinstall. Had to do with my old save. Gotit figured out! Excellent tutorial. Cant wait to get the full experience

How do you import wrestler via this mod?
With the current version if you got to Edit Mode in the game menu there will be an Import Edits and Export Edits option.

@@GamerUnderDev The version of the game is the 2.12.19, the patcher is at 1.0.90.0 and the modpack.dll is at 1.0.0.0

patcher's screen is ochre yellow
IF YOUR PATCHER IS BEIGE COLORED
- a beige patcher means you have an out-of-date Assembly-Csharp.original
- this should be solved by simply applying the newest release or test version of the modpack, but if not:
- go to FireProWrestlingW_Data -> Managed
- find Assembly-Csharp.dll
- create a copy of it in the same folder and rename to Assembly-Csharp.original.dll
- run patcher which should now be blue and functioning correctly

Can I run this mod with pirated free STARDOM version? Because I have trouble when I click PWGR Patcher.
I suspect not, Spike Chunsoft is aware of Carl's modding of the game code and tolerates it as he has a reputation for being a stand up member of their community and he is anti-piracy. On that front he and I agree. I understand the STARDOM DLC was not well priced for what it is but perhaps you would be better off waiting for a steam sale so you could enjoy the mods too :)
@@GamerUnderDev Yes you are right. Btw I am only 15 so I can't buy game by myself and I pirated it and make my own edits with full parameter and logic :DDD. I don't want to spend parents money, but I will sure buy some new dlc for about 5 years when I start working 😀. The problem is when I click that it says me to copy first some Accessority (or something like that) check dll into accessority check dll original. And when I checked files it didn't had that dll.original only dll. It is probably because I didn't buyed game.

There are other tutorials on the channel that cover other parts of the modpack in detail but this is meant to get it installed and me explaining the different components was just sort of improvised additional content.
