Finally a retro style game that can potentially have (customs) a full WWF retro roster that WWE should have put out themselves!
To anyone new to Fire Pro Wrestling games, these games has the most deepest wrestling system at its core, it can and does simulate every style of wrestling, with all the nuances that makes one wrestler different from another and so on.
Yup. Lucha matches feel like Lucha matches. Puro, American Style, Death Matches and even MMA all covered authentically in these games.
So . . . it's the exact opposite of every WWE game ever! Lol. I've never played any of these but I've heard they are great.
They are also very, very difficult to master. Anyone expecting to pick this up and be able to have fun playing it right away is in for a frustrating experience. The Fire Pro games are brilliantly made, but they're not for everyone, and fans of WWE games like No Mercy or Smackdown need to realise this before buying FPWW.

I love how people create so many wrestlers in this series and you can download them even though I never did that cuz I didn't know how but just having that ability is amazing but I never figured out the grappling system very well myself and it always felt uncomfortable to me because I'm used to actually pushing a button to grab somebody but I would love to get this game anyways and have all the old Legends if possible that would be awesome!

I get what your saying, and it is. It's awesome. One of the best wrestling games ever made.
It takes a lot of practice before it starts to become fun. Even simple moves are tricky to pull off at first, and strikes are nearly impossible to land. Just be prepared to put in a lot of time practicing, as I know a lot of newcomers to Fire Pro may be put off by the steep learning curve.

The attitude era is the best but when it came down to golden era and new generation era, I cared a little more because in the arcades I was wwf superstars wwf wrestlefest and wwf Wrestlemania the arcade game. So when I got fire pro wrestling world I downloads all wwf wrestlers recreating wwf wrestlefest

Amazing edit :D still i got to get my agenda in, there is no multiplayer (universe mode as example) i got a short video explaining the plans for that multiplayer to actually exist, you can of course mark this as spam but i'm not doing copy paste here and i just want to have some kind of server where people who love simulating matches on FPW could join for one project. Thanks if you decided to leave the comment on your WWF tribute video, and as one who loves making tribute videos/ trailers i can say this one is pretty damn good :P
Yeah i know i hear ya. Online Multiplayer is something that's sorely lacking in Wrestling games full stop.
and it's weird because as i know pro wrestling fans love to talk about their passion that is pro wrestling. It's somewhat a culture. About that project: it's nothing that big , it's just an idea that i'll try to make with the help of people who are willing to participate. Also i see no reason no to want to participate :D of course no need to judge people who don't have time to watch matches (that at this point have no prestige or real feel of importance) but in time maybe it will become some kind of weird place for us wrestling fans to just roleplay as if it's real competition with real characters. Wrestling to me was alwasy make belief and thats so entertaining.

It's not the best animation admittedly. Though Spike have been releasing move packs & updating animations so could always look forward to a new one down the line.

This is on the PC version so i was able to mod the arena textures and camera angles but on both PC and Console, you can download custom wrestlers from any era you want!

Wave Razor That takes way too long. The amount of customization that the AI requires is vast, and making even one wrestler can take ages to get right. Downloading them is the only way to go.

I would love to have this game with all the legendary wrestlers but the speed of it looks way too fast I mean everyone runs against the ropes at a Usain Bolt level speed plus when they jump It's just way too fast and I like a little bit fast compared to extra slow but it's just a little bit too fast actually, maybe the speed can be altered with a slider or something but it just looks too fast!
Yes, you can adjust the game speed to your liking.

Yeah this is a mod of the PC version, Only the arena textures and camera though. You can still download these wrestlers and rings with the PS4 version of the game

None. These are all custom creations. However, the amount of created wrestlers you can have is unlimited. You could literally have every wrestler that has ever been in the WWE if you wanted to.

Yeah they're custom made however most of them have their create parts such as heads, attire parts moves and taunts in the create mode similar to the Smackdown games. The community creates them and uploads them for us to download like CC on 2K18.
Steam users have it easiest, with individual wrestlers or entire packs of them downloadable from Steam Workshop.

Technosphile if it ain't broke, don't fix it. In a world of wrestling games trying too hard to be simulation, we need an arcade styled wrestling game. There's a reason Fire Pro is recognized as one of the best if not the best series of wrestling games ever created.
They need to recreate a game like Slammasters for the next gen.
I honesty cannot see the appeal of this game...It just looks so shitty??
